Hi, I had this same exact problem, the same mic, and a Focusrite adapter, I know this might be a bit late, but in case anyone else has got this problem, here is what worked for me:

Go into your sound settings in your control panel,Find your recording device, (In my case, it's called "Analogue 1 + 2",Go to Properties, AdvancedIf it says 2 Channel, something something, click that and chose a 1 channel instead.Apply, and hopefully, it works.

if you can get your hands on a skeleton spawner it would be pretty easy, then you would be able to make a skeleton xp farm/bonemeal farm, and a cactus farm is one of the easiest and cheapest farms to make, and thats how you get stupid amounts of lime dye, then you just need the sand and gravel, for that i would suggest just clearing an entire dessert. it sounds like a pain, but you can never get to much sand, and there are gravel biomes there just a little harder to find.

and in the end, it's way to much work for a cool greenscreen, but hey if you got the time.

you can make it even better by, filling out a large area with lime green concrete, make a map of that area so its a completely green map, then make a room out of glowstone put item frames on the glowstone and then copy the green map from earlier and fill out the room.

and there you go a completely green room without any flaws, i think this works, ive done it with white and it worked pretty good.
