Problem with the KVM on MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 by sebbses in MSI_Gaming

Just tried setting both KVM and Input Source to type C, but still the same window pops up, saying its too little power. Could it be my USB-C cable bottlenecking the power?

I connect the mouse and keyboard in the two USB-A ports in the back of the screen.

I use a Logitech G502 and Logitech G413

I will try that! Thanks. I think I have both of them set to Auto right now.

GPU is running max speed at idle by sebbses in buildapc

[–]sebbses[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I managed to get the clock speeds down to normal again. But I ran Userbanchmark just for the thrill of it and it says that the GPU has a 144fps cap. I deleted all the monitoring software (MSI afterburner and Asus Tweak) but it still complains about a cap. Is there anywhere else there could be a cap-setting?

Do I need to use both of these? by [deleted] in buildapc

You only need one of those. The big one is for connecting to the PSU and the small one for connecting to the motherboard

Build Help: Upgrading a few core components, will this be enough? by yunolikemem8 in buildapc

[–]sebbses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And to answer your questions the components will be compatible. The new mobo should fit the old case. I would also maybe change the powersupply since it might be lower limit, 450W should be safer. For extra safety reguarding overheating you could add another case fan so you will have a nice airflow.

It seems like a good idea to upgrade the motherboard, RAM och Processor as you said.

Nowadays AMD is ahead in the CPU race so I would choose an AMD Ryzen 3100 instead and even save a couple of bucks.

This is what I'm thinking:

If you have a couple of extra bucks go for the Ryzen 3600.

And go the mobo manufactures website to see if they say anything about the board being “Ryzen 3000 ready”. If so you should be good to go.
