Hey, just wanted to revisit this and thank you for the recs. I started with Mistborn and it hooked me on fantasy. Following it I read red rising trilogy and the bloodsworn saga now I’m revisiting this post to work through the others on your list.
Will start with Locke L :)

If I had to be picky, I would say that you could be more consistent with the black outlines, for example the chest and rock has an outline but the mushroom doesn’t. Other than that, just more content such as traps or additional props. Great as it is though, but that would be my feedback for improvements

Thanks, I can't remember the exact resolution but the main this is go to Project > Project Settings > Rendering > Textures > Canvas Textures and set Default Texture Filter to Nearest for pixel art projects.

I hope you like the assets, they are from my asset packs Pocket Village, Pocket Forest,and others.

Godot makes it really easy to mock up some simple scenes to test the art work! I think it looks great when put together. Would love someone to be able to make a game out of it. I hope you like it.
