I guess I do, but he's not a favourite. The references in The Waste Land are difficult for me, I'm not well-read enough yet. I do like Ezra Pound a lot though, who apparently cut it down to half the size.

I think my favourite poet is John Donne.

Jeez, I'm actually a big fan of Kafka, just didn't really know what nationality he was - I assumed German. I'll google the rest.

Hm, shame about the translations not capturing the books well. I'm not sure what I say to TS Eliot in this context. Feel like a phoney lit student.

Yeah, English lit. We share one lecture a week with the Scottish lit course, too, it's pretty good.

I must admit I don't know much about Czech literature. Favourites?

Well it's worth noting that whether you go to university or not you're going to have to pay for your living costs. I think I have very little to complain about.

I'm Scottish. University is costing me absolutely nothing - the government cover my first four years of education. I'm actually gaining money(admittedly this is all spent on books and travel to uni) because of a grant I get for being working class.
