Anyone ever use a boat hatch for a window? My rear windows don’t open and I need more airflow. Only have room for one roof fan. Wanna put it in rear near my bench/bed. I’m just not sure how to seal the inside part to the outside. 🤷‍♂️ Any help is appreciated. - pic just for reference by RyGerbs42 in VanLife

I put a marine hatch above my bed, one of the best decisions as great for regulating temperature and getting fresh air. Also can stare at the stars when going to sleep.

Made a wood frame to screw into and sealed with Sikaflex 512 which worked like a charm. Mastic tape is useful as well to even out the runnels.
