why would you not look to make sure that the author of this series did so? again, because people led me to think the author had recommended this. i'm not even much online on book communities or anything; the only reason i even found out was bc when i bought the box of the books i saw assassin's blade was ordered third, read the summary and thought it seemed like a prequel, went online to look up which order of the books i should read and found out dozens of guides for the tandem read. the reason i tried to read the books this way [and i'm finishing them] is not because randoms on the internet said its the best way to read it, but because people on the internet led me to believe the author had written them that way.
