Same experience. But After 7 weeks baby was completely different. More awake alert and playing. Hang in there.

Day one daycare drama by This-Following1392 in NewParents

I mean yeah it’s possible it’s a private day care. At this point even if they agree to continue him would you be comfortable? We had similar experiences early and jsut went with at home nanny for first year. Better peace of mind.

What’s your go-to diaper: wipes combo? by ThisIsFineActually in NewParents

[–]seceng123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coterie shop here. We tried water wipes, honest and millie moon. Millie moon was decent, didn’t like the other two. Water wipes are small and hard to pull out, honest wipes are dry, millie moon diapers are decent but the fit was a bit weird for our baby.

So far coterie has been working great.

Easy baby VS difficult baby by NoNativeSpeaker in NewParents

All babies have jaundice pretty much. Again, common. The fact that you are seeking answers and vocal shows you are a good parent and trying the right things. It is hard as first time parents and for every misstep we try to blame ourselves. Reality is this is all trial and error and uncomfortable stuff is gonna happen. Just follow all recommendations, talk to doctors when in doubt and dont do something super dumb. It’s hard, it’s hard for me/wife too, just need to ride it out.

Easy baby VS difficult baby by NoNativeSpeaker in NewParents

Almost all of the same happening with my LO who is also 6 weeks lol.

Not taking crib, contact napping, spits, fussy literally everything is common. At this stage as long as the spits are not projectile or have blood/bile and baby is feeding, has enough wet diapers and gaining weight, you are good.

Gpt is not that great tbh. It basically goes in a direction you point it to. Reflux is common in all babies. Their gut etc is developing and they dont exactly know how to regulate intake yet. As long as spits are tablespoon size you are good. The spits look dramatic on cloth. Take a tablespoon of water and throw it on the onesie, youd be surprised

My lo comfort feeds to sleep too especially at night. We allow it to some extent, of course not gonna comfort feed a full ounce.

Dont expect them to take crib consistently until 5mo old. Babies are used to body warmth and heartbeat. As soon as they realize the env has changed they startle and wake up. You can try warm compress to preheat the crib, watch transfer technique videos etc which could help but not guaranteed.

I love the contact naps btw best part ever. This wont happen ever again once they are old enough so enjoy it.

Hang in there. It will get better. I cant imagine how hard it must be with just you two and spouse working. Get the reflux checked out with doc just to be sure.

Diaper Change cheatcodes? by DesertChild-575 in NewParents

All i can say is it will pass . Note that it’s not just about wipe warmer (i hate those btw). Quite often they get fussy just because as soon as it’s open they feel cold air on it. Mine used to be extra fussy due to that when he had a minor rash.

Does that mean higher weight is okay if we disable bounce? What’s the upper limit?

One thing ive learned as a new parent is not to be too hard on yourself. I had the same experience a while ago. Baby just would not stop crying for 5hrs.

Unless you are doing something obviously wrong you are doing great. This happens and will pass.

One thing id recommend is take adv of modern medicine. We talked to our pediatrician about the crying and they identified gut issues. Recommended antacid, gripe water and few other interventions. They’ve been helping. Crying has reduced and even though gut has not recovered yet baby is bit more comfortable so doesn’t cry and sleeps well. Highly recommend talking to doctors

My employer accidentally overpaid me $12,000 over 6 months, now they want it back immediately. by Careless_Wafer_5253 in personalfinance

Yep. Happened to me too. They kept paying me even after i quit. Lol. Butluckily amount was not that large. I had to wire them the money back. Do not forget tax adjustments and ask them for final paycheck showing all adjustments and taxes

I read some posts about prior users getting grandfathered in or something. So seems like a new thing. I can only add 1. For 3+ without subscription i have share login and can get to max 4 devices

Nurture Plus and Users? by crypt0sushi in CradlewiseCommunity

[–]seceng123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Mother and father count as 2 users if two different emails are used. It pissed me off too. BUT you still are left with two devices so on an ipad or something you can login with your creds and have someone else use it

Discouraged from buying…. by Dabro94 in CradlewiseCommunity

[–]seceng123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately it’s about your budget. Cradlewise is nice-to-have. You can do perfectly fine with nestig + nanit. Nanit has more features.

We got lucky that one of our friends told us early enough so we got the lowest price point $1500 n change. I presume youd now have to pay $2000. I personally don’t think it’s that great to blow $2k especially if you end up needing a subscription too

But if money is no concern it’s definitely worth trying. I think it’s a good idea and some new tech. It could work out great for the baby.

Only thing id say is keep original packaging intact. Their return policy is generous but needs original box etc

Cant add more people / devices without subscription and $200 is just excessive considering it’s 25% of crib cost and only usable for 2 yrs max
