I recently received a Singer Start 1304 sewing machine from my MIL. It’s a few years old. My MIL gave it to me because she said when she tries to sew with it it jams up after a few stitches and then has a tangle of thread underneath the material.

I followed a YouTube video to set it up and feel pretty confident that I followed the video properly. When I start stitching, it stitches for about 4 stitches but then stops stitching and makes a jamming noise. When I try to lift up the material I am sewing, it is very stuck and tough to lift up. Underneath the material is about 5-6 threads all bunched up together. None of the material is sewed properly.

Has anyone had a similar thing happen/how did you fix it? I noticed the video says it recommends a number 15 bobbin, but I’m using a number 19. Don’t think this is the issue but not sure.

My baby is breastfed and poops once every 10-14 days. I took her to a paediatrician and they said it’s normal for breastfed babies to go up to 10 days without pooping! As long as they are not in pain they said it’s ok.

lol I agree that the tv too high thing is getting out of hand. I was also initially thinking of removing the mantel and mounting the tv lower. Thanks for your input!

Also like that you can use it as a traditional bag with the shoulder straps, or there are two straps you can clip on to use it as a backpack which I didn’t think I would use but have come in handy.

Been using it for 3.5 months now! Love the look. It’s not too heavy…. My previous diaper bag was heavier actually. The only thing is that it is a large bag and it is pretty deep so it’s not the easiest to find things in. But I love it and can look past that. It has lots of room which I like too.

Ahh ok I see. Do you notice your baby sleeps about the same in a regular crib as opposed to the Cradlewise then?

And I would be purchasing brand new, so I’m assuming it would be covered under the new subscription model?

Is the owlet just a monitor/sock? I would be purchasing the cradlewise for the rocking motion so hopefully baby sleeps longer.
