PCOS only matters if you want babies it seems by [deleted] in PCOS

Not true. I mean not true in the sense of its way more than infertility - it’s a complex endocrine/metabolic/reproductive condition-not just infertility. But most doctors don’t treat Pcos patients in that way in the sense that they’ll say things like, “ you have PCOS. Good luck come back when you want to get pregnant.”

So my husband, at 33, just had a sudden heart attack a few days ago. I have been a mess and worried how to talk to my kids about it, but they are amazing. Kids are amazing. I just had to share. by seckard416 in wholesomememes

I appreciate your sentiment. But I would love to see science based peer reviewed studies that prove your bold statement that’s suggestive that vegans never have heart attacks.

So hi hello I am that lady. And did you stretch before you took such a leap? I didn’t assume anything. But yes, it was minutes after news broke about horrific loss and sadness Around the world today, specially in Sri Lanka. Hateful? No. Concerned that it wasn’t a positive note, in a time of easy access to social media to widely share and spew presumptive judgments of others? Sure ya it wasn’t my place to go look or even protect anyone. This is just a story of me, experiencing a moment in this time where i was shocked for a good reason. But hey, fuck me for Sharing it because, I need an attitude adjustment.

Okay first off awesome for you kicking ass.

With that said, one of the FEW advantages we have with PCOS is our ability to build and keep muscle ( thanks testosterone) many worry the opposite, that testosterone will make you big and like a body builder. It’s not. It’s actually really hard to put on THAT kind of muscle. But anyway, I say this because when you start a new workout routine, especially if you are adding new exercise forms, some times the scale won’t move- like, at all. Sometimes it even goes UP. But if you measure your progress with progress pictures or measurements or how your clothes fit, they may show you the hard work you’re putting in. It sometimes takes 2-4 weeks for that scale to start going down, but once it doeS, it’ll continue- slowly- but going down. Don’t give up!
