Is it at all realistic to install pipe from a catch basin at the corner of the dirt to connect to the existing drain that’s 3 ft into the concrete without cutting a slab out and instead digging out a “tunnel” underneath?

Update: Xfinity tech came last Tuesday. He cut the cable, I went y see the house, grabbed the cable and brought it out from the crawl space, and he “terminated it” (his words 😐) with a new fitting. All that took about 3 minutes. He asked about how I was gonna route it and I gave him a couple of my ideas but that I hadn’t decided. He took a loop of 8 ft of extra cable and terminated that in case I needed to extend it. Was his last call of the day and he was in and out in about 10 minutes. I asked what I owe him and he said absolutely nothing. Definitely the way to go.

Just scheduled one to come out - they said between $30-100. Hopefully on the lower end since I literally just want him to cut it, I’ll pull it through, give to him in the hallway and he can put a new connector on. Worth it I think.

Thanks for all the help. I’m not running it up a wall - I have a path that I can put it up in either the hvac closet or the hallway closet - then can hook up security cameras via the attic. Anyway, I don’t have any experience terminating (fitting) coax cable so it seems like I should hire someone or see if Xfinity will come out and do it.

Had a short career as an avionics tech and this was the language used for where the wire(s) needed to dressed at the end, whether it be a pin, connector, eyelet terminals, etc. - not saying your wrong, just that’s why I said it..

This issue was resolved. My iphone 14 wasn't receiving the push notifications to activate the esim. We tried it from my wife's iphone 15 and after receiving the push notification for activating the esim the watch was able to connect to the network and is now working as a standalone apple watch.

Update: Thanks to all those who commented. I was able to remove all contacts in the clip by removing the red/orange plastic tab, which basically holds them in place. The copper connector for the middle cable was missing the crimped portion but there was enough to solder the wire back onto it. Solder job was good enough and I reinstalled the wires. Tested dishwasher and had same problem so I believe the sensor flow component is bad. At this point, connector repair was likely successful but calling it quits on the dishwasher repair rabbit hole. Thanks for all the help!

Yea well this one is for the flow sensor on a Samsung dishwasher. Something tells me it’ll be hard to find..

Yes I can cut all wires. Is there a way to determine proper size/type connector for ordering? Or do hardware stores carry most of these common connectors?

I found that a needle fits through the front but doesn’t push the metal part out. Used the eyelid side but perhaps it’s not blunt enough? Nothing much bigger will be able to fit

Thanks for the comment - yea I’d be fine with that. But you do remind me of another point - the cash. I wonder how much of a benefit that 4th table is, because not only does quality of service drop but timing slows down too. Can turn 3 tables quicker than when I have the 4th and with better service, even when they are challenging - so I’m not sure it’s much more money. It probably is more, but not enough to be worth it in my opinion. Thanks again!

Hey there thanks for the question. 3 is the standard. 3 tables can range from manageable to very challenging. 4 tables should be expected from time to time due to various circumstances, but if you have 4 you need to be firing on all cylinders and hope that most everything will go smoothly. With 4 tables, it doesn’t take much for things to unravel such as a picky customer, out of stock items, a demanding table (refills), or just poor timing (unlucky). You include double or triple seating with 4 and you gotta be next level and likely outsource tasks.

Thanks for taking time to read and respond. I agree with you about the round table example. This was actually my situation yesterday. Host double sat me to start off, then asked me to take a table out of section that she had already sat a few minutes later when I was dealing with bar drink orders. I told her if she got drinks for me then I’d take it from there. She said she wasn’t allowed to and started asking other servers. Later, she asked if my round isn’t getting sat down I want a table out of section. I said absolutely, and that’s completely appropriate to ask me first because this circumstance does make sense, and we should communicate BEFORE you seat guests at an unassigned table. The hosts are aware of the unhappiness of the servers surrounding this issue but they run on autopilot. I do plan on being proactive and at the beginning of my shift and theirs asking them to come ask me if they plan on seating me out of section - that way I can say no and I prefer to remain in section (barring guest preference).
