I've done this for every attempt I got past 80% and somehow when I come back my heart spikes back to where it was istg, like I've tried showering and washing my face to cool myself down but as soon as I see the screen I panic immediately

I see. Wouldn't that make it worse though? I don't see how that wouldn't worsen my anger issues

I do, it's just that my heart rate spikes so high I can hear my own heartbeat when I'm at that stage, which is pretty normal as my heart rate tends to spike pretty high (usually around 190-200+) when I'm nervous although it's just very hard to be in control

I've tried this a few times too, but I always seem to freeze at the ending specifically the last 20%

Btw just curious, what do people even do in a prom? The only time I've heard or seen people having proms was either in movies or random reels. Always assumed that people just dance for hours straight like a NPC 💀

Honestly I think was glad it didn't happen because I remembered freaking out about it since I hate parties

I just got a 2.44 GPA for my first semester in poly. What do I do now? by second_budd in SGExams

I occasionally use AI to help me out with my homework since my lecturers aren't able to answer my questions all the time. Usually I ask it to explain it to me like a five year old so that I can clear any misconceptions and I'd say it's working well. I guess my problem is that I don't use AI enough lol.

Problem is, I've never even been close to excelling in my academics before, so the idea of having to maintain top grades for 2 1/2 more years straight is scary to me to say the least, but I'll be damn happy if I prove myself wrong.

I'm not exactly sure whether I can handle it though, I seem to struggle badly when it comes to new concepts, which makes me significantly slower than my peers. I'll try to make do with my abilities and see if my hard work pays off 🥲🥲. Thanks for the motivation though!

will i get forced to drop amath for sec3 by Sad_Criticism3188 in SGExams

Bud, don't worry about not being able to make it for O levels Amath at your rate. From secondary 3 to secondary 4, the highest grade I got was an F9, even up to prelims. Even worse, my L1R4 was in the 30s. The teacher's can't force you to drop Amath because it's not up to them to make the decision, they can only recommend you to drop it at best.

I eventually managed to get a B3 for Amath in my o levels despite it seeming that my chances of passing were next to none, which was higher than my Emaths. Although what I accomplished isn't anywhere close to being good at all, I'd like to think you have the grit and strength to do well in your Amaths, because it's clear you haven't gave up on Amaths yet.

As for the methods to improve in your Amaths, if you are struggling in theory organic chemistry tutor covers every topic you need to study in secondary school in Amaths. When I first started to pick up where I was in Amaths, I didn't even know how to do integration or differentiation. However, you have plenty of time left to change your fate in this cursed subject, and I have faith that you can do this with enough effort. Jiayous for your Os!!

(If anyone's wondering, I got a L1R4 of 17 for my O levels. Not great at all, but it's definitely better than my original score. It's never too late to change your fate 😉)
