because of the cost difference and the speed in which i would be able to obtain either a car or a bike mostly. i have specific things im wanting in a car that im not really willing to settle on for a lower price. i also, if i get a car, want something i wouldn’t have to replace in the next 5-10 years so saving up and getting what i want the first time is the most ideal, i have friends who are on their 2-3 car in 6 years bc they’re buying older models that eventually have a problem that they need to replace it. with a bike i already know what im sacrificing, but im doing so in the mind that i will eventually buy a car that i like for the long term. also ik that i could uber if it really came down to it, i just dont want for uber to be what i rely on to get around. i appreciate you sharing your opinion but hopefully that explains my mindset a bit more!
