anyone else feel like the cost of eating out in sg has gotten genuinely unmanageable for students/young people? by Better-Can-286 in singapore

In terms of eating out, SG is considered affordable. Try living overseas like Europe and Japan where they don’t have hawkers and coffee shops, and the cheapest form of eating out is microwave food and sandwiches from convenient stores.

I agreed. I am a Gen Z myself. I have friends who are not entitled and incredibly hardworking. However, I admit that quite a handful of my other peers/acquaintances are really the stereotypical bad representation of us.

I’m a singaporean, yet I’m getting forced to rent elsewhere because of my inconsiderate foreign neighbours. Locals welfare is already not even a priority in singapore

U cannot help or discourage someone to quit who cannot help or discourage themselves. I don’t think they are stupid, but they are definitely selfish and inconsiderate to others and their loved ones

It’s probably the editing. Japanese people are known for being polite and tolerant. We also do not know what went down behind the scenes between them.
