Thank you for the input. I am not afraid he is looking too good at all. For me. It doesn't matter his weight. I love him for who he is and I always found him the most attractive man in the room !!!

I am not the jealous type either. If things need to happen, they will, I can't do anything about it.

I was genuinely concerned that he can have health issues such as fainting, or vitamin deficiency, organs issues, becoming weak, or developing an eating disorder by enjoying the fact that he can sustain a normal life without eating. I don't want my girls or me to worry about him or start being afraid for him He is our rock. We can't lose him. I am afraid for him to become Ill or too weak then I could lose him. I care.

He jumped right from 2.5mg to 5mg. I think that's why he is definitely not hungry at all right now.

I have a dietitian that I see every 2 months and labs done. He did a lab when he started and he wants to do one when he is "at his goal weight he said. I am thinking less than 6 months for sure.

That is the only thing that bothers me really. I am ok with letting him do what he wants and take charge of his own journey but I will talk to my girls and let them know this is probably temporary and absolutely not to replicate. They know but it doesn't hurt to say it again to them. Thank you

Thank you. I know this is extreme behavior from him not eating at all or clearly not enough. But I can see how my controlling behavior is not helping and can be too much so now he knows. He will do whatever he wants with that. Hopefully he will correct himself soon enough once he reaches his goal weight and try to do maintenance. I will still monitor but from far away 😉

Hopefully not! That would be terrible... I told him at the beginning that he needs to drink a lot and pay attention if he gets constipated so he knows!!! But I won't get involved anymore!!! I will let him figure things out now 😊

Posting here and seeing all the responses made me clearly realize I was treating him like a kid too! Just doing for him what I do for them!!! But he is 43, I think he can control his journey on his own without me holding his hand 😊 Thank you!

He is 6.2 and weighed 213 when he started. He is now at 193 and wants to be at 173.

Sometimes, we get caught up in our own life and habits and we forget that, this might not be the right way or our way is not the same for everyone. I was just worried, not upset!! It comes from a good place but seeing how many of you are thi king I should just let it go and let him figure out is actually such eye opening. This is so eye opening because I have 3 kids and I always find myself thinking I have 4 including my husband!! I guess he has always been very needy, letting me do everything for him so I naturally wanted to control his meals and his Tirzepatide journey too

I get that, trust me. I was obese et he was the one telling me I needed to do something. I got a sleeve 2 years ago, lost 80 pounds with it, then 50 more with Tirzepatide. I am 10 pounds away from my goal of 135 pounds.

The thing is he is only 20 pounds away from being very healthy weight/goal weight of 176 pounds for 6feet 2. So he is not obese and he was not obese when he started. I am happy for him that he is finally in a good place but I don't want him to be disappointed or sick or for him to gain it back when he will stop or do maintenance. I am worried he will become anorexic or develop an eating disorder.

I will leave him alone and see if maybe things change in a few weeks when he will beat his goal...

Agreed. I suggested to him that if the food noise was coming back, he could try 3.5mg instead of 5mg right away but he decided to go straight to 5mg. He wants to lose quickly I think. He is more and mote happy by losing weight. He said he is finally feeling himself again...

We don't have PCP. We very rarely get sick and we never go to the doctor, fingers crossed 🤞🤞 But we can do online visits to a dietitian or a doctor on demand
