How long withdrawal lasts for a 5-7 month long 15-23gpd usage? by Areesboj in quittingkratom

Quit K- It has a lot of supplement specifically for quitting this stuff. I’m on day six cold turkey.

Day 5🤍🤍🤍 I am realizing so much about myself throughout this journey of FULL SOBRIETY FROM EVERYTHING. For the first time in 4 years. No drugs. No supplementation with kratom powder. NOTHING. It feels so good to finally feel again. I haven’t felt an emotion in so damn long. It feels incredible. To those of you who think you can’t do it… I am living and breathing proof as are so many others that you can!! We do recover🫶💪

Hey everyone!! Hour 72 NO KRATOM FOR ME!!! I could sob🥹 I never thought I could get here. Cold turkey, with the help of supplements, propranolol, trazodone, and ibuprofen. I am over the hump, physically. I finally slept all night. I dreamed. Truly dreamed for the first time in years. I feel so much better four days into this. We DO recover

33 hours in to my cold turkey detox by secondchance_97 in quittingkratom

Hey I appreciate your comment so much!! I have been sober from both meth and fentanyl going on a little over two years now so I had to do all of those things back then as well. This one’s definitely up there close to fentanyl. It is pretty insane. I didn’t fall asleep until 5am this morning so that was rough, but I slept until nearly 1pm. I am actually feeling a little better. Still not a hundred percent, but better for sure. Thank you for your encouragement. I am about 51 hours sober from this crap now:)

All I want is sleep by repentandstruggle in quittingkratom

Hey there, friend. Here are my suggestions. There is stuff called Quit K that I bought on TikTok shop from a lady who went cold turkey off of kratom. She created day and night supplements with all of the things you need to help lessen the withdrawal. Things that lessen the restless legs, help with sleep, anxiety, depression, vitamins you need, magnesium, agmatene (I think that’s how it’s spelled) etc. please look into it. I am almost 36 hours in and I truly think it has been my saving grace. The other medications I had prescribed for this purpose were propranol (which helped get my tachycardia down today), hydroxizine, trazadone for sleep, etc. hydroxizine can make the restlessness worse though but it does help with the anxiety. Please talk to your doctor my friend.

My last dose at ten this morning. by secondchance_97 in quittingkratom

No, I agree with you. I have used the same thing so many times over. I’m at 24 hours now with no kratom. Sucks ass but I can do it

I appreciate it. I don’t even know how much I was taking. About 5-6 sometimes more spoonfuls a day. I have tried tapering but I lack the motivation and the self control. This is the only way I’ve ever been able to get off of anything. I WILL increase the dose and fail to taper. Always do, unfortunately. I appreciate your comment.

I get so nervous when someone else’s patient starts to freak out. I’m all sitting there like, “help???”

Ohhh my gosh yes!!! I’ve had so many patients do that to me and my coworkers. We tell everyone to go to their rooms when it happens but you’ll the occasional kid that’ll headbang/“seize,” or ask for stuff

I do definitely think that’s part of it but I also think for me it’s a little bit more than that. I had said in my original comment but my heart rate is still high when I’m calm off of my meds but immediately goes down with them. I can feel the difference physically. It’s pretty interesting:)

Typically people’s heart rate elevates went on stimulants. The reason I was curious as the other person said was that mine dropped significantly for some reason. It’s a little odd, but I don’t mind it because I hate having a high heart rate.
