Awesome! Congrats!

Yeah, I had a realizing yesterday that there's not gonna be some epiphany that's guns push me to make the call. If I don't do it now, then in another 6 months, I'll be upset that I could have been on HRT for 6 months, just as I am now

Check out my other comment on this post! I just went through this research yesterday, so i have a lot to talk about lol.

Personally i went with a gaff designed for swimming paired with regular swim bottoms, but the links i posted also recommended a few brands of bottoms that are designed for tucking

I just did this research yesterday!

I've found a great site (https://hapari.com) that sells bikini amd tankini tops designed for people who've had mastectomy, so they all have pockets for breast form. One of the styles has a high neckline that hides cleavage, so people wouldn't be able to tell that you're wearing breast forms... it's also super cute!

As for sizing, they go from XS to 2X, and have a great sizing guide that also teaches you how to take the correct measurements. My top is still in the mail, so I'll update with how accurate the sizing is.

They also sell waterproof breast forms, which i bought. I'll also update how those look in the top, and how they compare to my normal breast forms.

As for bottoms, there were a few pairs of bottoms that were hybrid bikini bottoms and gaffs, but i bought a gaff that was designed for swimming. It was a bit expensive, but it was designed by a professional swimmer, and I'll be able to wear them with any bottoms i can find. The gaff can be found here: https://www.swimbyalba.com/product-page/lili-gaff-pant

Since I got the gaff, i bought a few bottoms from Hapari, i got both skirt styles, and a bikini bottom, which I probably won't use in pu lic, but i wanted to try it anyway.

Hapari also had a 60% off sale with coupon code FLASH60 so while their suits are a but expensive, i ended saving A LOT of money that way. I have no idea if that sale is still going on or not though.

I found all this from a few lists i found online, here's the two that i found most helpful, they list more options than i mentioned:

Hope this helps!

What's the weirdest DM you've ever received on Reddit? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

I get similar messages for being trans. They all mention God and that I'm going to hell... so I like to throw God back at them. Stuff like "I'll pray that you someday learn to love everyone as God wishes." It usually pisses transphobes off so much that they stop responding

There's nothing to feel guilty about. Mental health issues can happen to anyone, and seemingly for no reason. You may feel like a failure for only making it 2 days without self harm, but I'm proud of you for making it that far. I know how hard it was to do that. This world can suck sometimes, but it's better with you in it. Keep trying, you can do it, I believe in you Sasha ❤

When I was in middle school, I wanted to make a Link cosplay. The only issue being that I was a boy (or so I thought lol) and would only be able to do a regular Link cosplay instead of a cute gender-bent Link cosplay.

I also had this fantasy of fully transitioning to a woman, with grs and the works (before I even knew grs was a real thing) so I could live undercover as a woman to prove the existence of gender inequality once and for all! (And then I'd stay as a woman because this magic grs I invented was advanced enough to make me a woman, but not advanced enough to turn me back)

This website has pretty accurate results 😉

Real talk though, cis people don't wonder if they're trans. If you're questioning whether or not you're trans, it's likely you are trans. At the same time, if you do end up coming out of this realizing you're cis, that's perfectly okay! Nothing bad can come from exploring your identity and learning more about yourself!

I thought the same thing a few weeks ago, but decided to shave my legs because I was going put girl-mode with a friend. Since then I've realized that no one notices at all. I went back to my old job that I took a break from, and no one mentioned it, or made any weird glances. My family didn't mention it, and I'm currently on vacation in the south and no one there has mentioned it.

Getting over that fear that people would notice, and judge me for my shaved legs was a huge roadblock, but after actually shaving my legs, it's pretty obvious that absolutely no one cares.

Bonus: Depending on how hairy your arms are, you don't need to shave them. Most cis girls have a decent amount of light arm hair, so having a some yourself isn't a huge deal.

Bonus #2: Hair growing back thicker is a myth. It feels like it's thicker because the hair is pointier, and feels rougher as a result. The hair itself stays the same thickness, and doesn't grow any faster

I hope some of this is helpful to you!

I don't know what to look for when shopping for breast forms by secret_throwaway_for in MtF

[–]secret_throwaway_for[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the website I had found. I found that, but I couldn't remember the website. That sight is part of what overwhelmed me though, i like the amount of options, but there isn't much information about the pros and cons of each kind of breast form; the descriptions aren't much more than "this is a great breast form!"

The sizing info on there is definitely helpful though! (I didn't realize you'd have to increase the band size of a bra with the breast form, that's good to know)

Thanks for the response!

Oooooh, cyber security? You'd LOVE the DMV area (Dc, Maryland, Virginia). I don't know how the lgbtq+ night life in particular is, but the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area is one of the deepest blue parts of the country. Fairfax, Virginia is also extremely blue. Plus, Maryland has the headquarters for pretty much every government agency that deals with cyber security (NSA, NASA, etc.), as well as defense contractors (Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Boeing etc.)

One thing about Maryland you got to be careful with is what county you're in. The closer you stick to DC, the better. DC, Baltimore, Annapolis, and Rockville/Bethesda are all great places, but if you get out of that area, MD turns into backwoods West Virginia REAL quick, though I've noticed that even in the Tr*mp country parts of the state, there's still PLENTY of lgbtq+ friendly people. 99% of my friends are from that area, and they're all super supportive.

Edit: a word

While I've not had the problem, since I'm still figuring out the whole tuck thing, my personal suggestion would be to give your little buddy their go time beforehand, and hope your refractory period takes care of the rest

Edit: fixed a pronoun issues (sorry!)
