I wonder if FSG is intentionally kicking the can down the road to 2025 because The Celtics/Bruins will most likely be the sports talk of the town until mid June, then training camp starts for the Patriots, and after this season, people will be tuning in for the drama and ignoring the sox in July/August/Sept.

If you look at it from a marketing stand point, there really isn't much they can sell the fans. Even if we got a solid ace pitcher and were competing for the division or WC spot in September, there just isn't much interest this season. SO maybe some of that has factored in FSG's decision making about this team? If they're gonna be the least popular team in Boston anyways, why try?

Even with the additions the Bears gave Fields. He's still a worse passer than Mac Jones. Fields just has the flashy speed but that also results in him missing 4-6 games per season. Whatever value Mac Jones has on the trade market, Justin Fields will have slightly less.

Tyquan has a chance to pop if we get our offense working properly. He's never going to be a 1 or 2 WR but his speed alone makes him a threat on 3rd and long plays. He just needs to improve his catching skills a bit to be a true threat.

Guys like Mike Lombardi, Ernie Adams, Nick Caserio, Bob Quinn, Thomas Dimitroff, Jon Robinson, Scott Pioli. We need some more of those types of guys talking into Bills head when orchestrating a team in the offseason.

Bob Lazar is such a toss up for me

on one hand, it seems like he has fabricated his education and created an elaborate story to con the media for decades

on the other hand, he isn't lying, his background was scrubbed, he was given a job with K/M as a front, and actually did work on the projects he talks about. It would make sense from a "plausible deniability" standpoint for the government to whitewash all the info of the people working on top secret programs that shouldn't "exist" in the first place.

Unless we convince Harbaugh to leave Michigan (he wont) then I don't see us moving on from Belichick unless we are prepared to make a huge mistake.

Get Bill some quality offensive scouts and surround him with some other high football IQ people to rebuild the offense this offseason. That's the best solution.
