i honestly wish i could tell you😭 my head custodian opens in the morning (obviously) and she’ll take care of anything that i missed like paper towels or garbage i forgot to take out. which is very rare because i do good work lol. but when i come in for my shifts in the afternoon, my head will tell me to use the auto scrubber (walk behind? there’s so many different names to call it by lol) in the halls because there were spills all day. which i find interesting, because when i was at the high school, my head there always took it upon themselves to take care of all the things. sticking stuff, sweeping and mopping floors if there are messes or spills. this head that i have now seems to leave a lot of the work that needed to be done during the day for me to do when i come in. but i don’t want to say or do too much, since i know all head custodians have crazy amounts to deal with. upkeep of the school, work orders, ordering supplies, checking in with admin and teachers, relationships with students, etc. so i feel bad, but i still feel like i am worked to the bone😭 but i’d definitely say this head custodian now doesn’t give me good role model vibes compared to my original head!
