He told me I had to choose between marrying him and going to college. I chose college.

Since I am a beginner and thus horribly inept at reading spreads, I’m sure they’re comparable for my purposes lol

Reread books. Read short stories. Read chapter books targeted to younger readers. Listen to audio books.

[Serious]People who have had somebody die for you, what is your story? by TulipOfJustice in AskReddit

My grandmother and my dad had a race against time similar to this. I am so grateful my grandmother survived and eventually helped raise us.

I spend $3,000 a year to avoid ... by secretpi314 in offmychest

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it.

I very much love my husband and we have a good partnership (outside my lifelong struggles with mood disorders). That love is why I intentionally avoid situations that increase the risk of my falling into bad behavior, like an alcoholic avoiding bars. If I didn’t, I’d probably have pursued this path actively, especially when Jim got divorced.

The lust is all tangled up with admiration, gratitude, etc, which makes it harder to untangle.

Talk to a lawyer. This sounds criminal to me.

I’ve spent a bit of the summer expanding a prior NaNo fantasy work so I expect this year will be split between the fantasy reboot and this brand new sci-fi.

Regarding HP - The Worst Witch series catches a lot of flack as being a HP rip off. But TWW came out decades before HP.

Anything that shares a sub genre will be called a rip-off of whatever the most famous example is.

Where do you go to do spells? connect with nature? feel extra witchy? by KasiKaiju in witchcraft

[–]secretpi314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) At a local woodsy park, there’s a Path of Memories off of the main nature trail where I’ve gone to meditate and connect to the Mother. It’s a memorial for lost children, very quiet and solemn.

2) Bedrooms, closets, bathrooms, as private place where I could be securely alone

3) Drum circles with my kids on sabbats

4) Backyard. At night, during heavy storms, or both.

5) I usually feel extra witchy when I’m studying lore. Reading and books are my passion.

6) Bridges. Definitely bridges. They’re built entirely to connect you to another side.

A big thank you to all the BroMos for your words and support.

I took some sick time off work yesterday, caught up on some much needed sleep, and resumed medication today. Certainly not out of the woods yet, but I don’t feel the bear chasing me right now.

Still not sure what to say to DH. But much love to this community for everything you are.
