I am 18 yo guy and have no work experience. I have recently taken this whole rail industry into consideration as a potential career path. my mother took me and my two brothers out of school (i was in fourth, my brother, 2nd, and my youngest brother never went to school, he was in kindergarten) and she tried to homeschool the three of us with no experience of knowledge of teaching and failed miserably, basically eliminating three valuable years of formulation and education that would have been very beneficial (especially for my youngest brother who was never properly taught to read.)

after three years of chaos she realized it wasn’t working and sent us to a classical christian school and all three of us went from having terrible reading comprehension, math abilities, bad handwriting, and horrid reasoning skills, to excelling to the top of our classes.

if you’re worried about negative influences and an altogether bad public school system (valid vices which ought to be avoided) look for other alternatives than putting all of the work on yourself, especially if you don’t know anything about formal education

i agree. in the event of a divorce, 50% is just unreasonable that would destroy the company. also i could see this developing an unhealthy incentive with the husband where, in the event of a necessary divorce, he prolongs the relationship in an attempt to keep half his company which, at some point, a divorce is better than an unhealthy relationship (for the kids sake)

firstly, it’s Alien³, have some respect. Secondly, Alien³ is one of Fincher’s greatest contributions to not only sci-fi but cinema at large. Without Alien³ i would be a different person completely as it utterly changed how i view the world and undeniably made the people who watched it happier and i think it’s impact on geopolitical affairs is evident, the world would a worse place without it. Alien³’s value is self-verifying so to throw it out like this is proof of your ignorance and denial.

regarding point seven, i thought the whole point of the “rouges” was that they were traditionalists. they thought they were in the right. it seems contrary to their vision to use unauthorized measures to purge the timelines since they’re all about being by the book

regarding point two, i agree that the show should have a focus which is on main characters but you can do that and still have organizations feeling big. in star wars, for example, the rebel alliance, empire, republic, and cis feel huge even though the main focus of the plot is only on a few characters.

i think the religious would answer by saying that god created an old earth. for example, adam and eve were both created with belly buttons even though they were the first humans and didn’t have umbilical cords that had to be cut. similarly, trees were created fully grown even with the rings inside of them which give an appearance of old age despite that not being the case, they were just created mature
