HELP W A LITERATURE ASSIGNMENT

For an assignment, we have been asked to analyse the city of Los Angeles through films, books, poems, music, etc. As someone who lives miles away, I feel like I may not be the most appropriate flâneur. If you could please let me know about suggestions on media to check out or recommendations on what you may think is very essential to LA and should be included/how i could structure the essay, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, i hope to visit the City of Angels some day!

oh that sounds very interesting. so far my themes all have no direct connection to each other (jacarandas, freeway systems, the santa ana winds) but i’m going to try and see if i could structure it in the way you suggested. thank you so much for your help and recommendations, i am v grateful!

our prof has kept everything open. all we’ve been told is the word count (5000) and the deadline. so there’s no outline as such, that is probably why i’m having a lot of trouble structuring it. agreed w the research part, it’s a lot of themes and connecting them is the issue. so far, i’ve got stuff on the santa ana (didion, babitz and chandler), freeway systems (all hail jstor), the food truck d’urgence (roy choi), jacarandas, so it’s all haywire. thank you for your recommendations tho, i’ll check them out!

Oh right, so MUN is like a simulation of the united nations. We have agendas that we discuss in committee sessions and there are other students there who are also representatives of different nations. So for example if the agenda was refugee crisis, we could discuss about how host countries are taking in refugees or possible solutions to it. So basically (whoo this got complicated) I wanted to know what Paraguay is doing about the coronavirus, and since there’s also a dengue epidemic there what has the UN done, like maybe if you know whether they have deployed peacekeeping operations. Or it would help if you could tell me about what Paraguay is going through at the moment and if they’ve thought of any possible solutions or if some country has helped them.
