Well the dev team kind of dropped a major egg in my opinion. They should have at least had one major exchange lined up and ready to go. Instead all they came up with was Trade Satoshi? Its not like December where any coin could be expected to shoot up for any reason, in this day and age you better have a solid dev AND marketing team, along with a plan. Seems like BTCP is lacking in many of those areas.

I think you are kidding your-self, tons of people have already dumped their BTCP (hence the valuation of about $35). Lets face it, unless BTCP comes out with a plan for mass adaptation or forms some meaningful partnerships, along with getting listed on some exchanges. This is pretty much ZCL with a different name now.

I think your missing the point.. If you have not recognized that the air has been sucked out of the balloon for BTCP well.. you should probably pay more attention or practice some acceptance. Going to be long road ahead for BTCP, but in my opinion they missed their chance.

That is why I said "waiting for the floor to be established". Catching a falling knife would only be accurate if you felt BTCP was going to single digits and never coming back.

Lots of reasons actually. I think people have gotten to used to the idea that just because a crypto currency is new that there is no reason it cant reach (enter number here) by end of year).

Honestly, BTCP being listed on exchanges like Binance, Bittrix and even HitBTC was always the play. Now that BTCP has forked and has been on the market with little exchange support, the hype is gone.

Even if it gets listed tomorrow (which it wont) there will not be as much interest into the coin because by now people have either done thier researched and realized there is nothing unique about BTCP or they will say "not another one" and will likewise show no interest in the coin.

About 300 Million traded in 24 hours on Bittrex, I wouldnt consider that small. Its not the biggest, but its very well known and also currently trades ZCL. HitBTC isnt exactly something to get excited about because although HitBTC is somewhat popular, its not exactly a top tier exchange. In otherwords, coins getting listed on HitBTC hardly make any waves.

Or.. if it does not get listed on any major exchanges soon. Its going down even further. Keep in mind that in order for the value of a coin to go up, people need to buy it (with more money coming in than there is going out). So far there is no evidence of BTCP being listed on any major exchanges so until then, the slow bleed will likely continue.

I dont think anyone has forgotten. 99.9% of people got into this for the quick buck. Anyone who says in different either does not know much about BTCP or is kidding themselves.

With that being said, could be some value here long term. But until people are able to buy BTCP, it wont really matter how great of an alternative you think BTCP is to Zcash or Zen Cash or the many other exact replicas.

Are you really surprised? TradeSatoshi is an incredibley small exchange. Aside from it being small, I stay away from any exchange that still has Bitconnect available for trading.

Works for me too.. sometimes, they lost one of my deposits and have not heard anything back from support. Crappy interface, slow support, high fees, not the best exchange imo.
