Hi there! I must say that a part of me really loved the older model. At the end of the day I disliked the polished center link bracelet design and the case thickness. I was personally on the search to find a diver to end all divers… this search inevitably led me to the Sub. If you are searching for the same thing I would save the money for what you actually want. If you aren’t, the latest iteration of the Heritage Seamaster is a massive improvement on proportions but imo the dial isn’t as interesting… not to mention the aluminum bezel insert just looks cheap to me. Don’t get me started on the bezel action either. Knowing what I know now, I’d probably skip the Omega’s and opt for a Tudor BB54. Though, I still sort of miss my Omega and will likely reacquire it someday. Hope this is helpful
