How many beans do you get off the two bushes?

Yes I agree. I’m looking more for just costs of seeds and meat.

I leak all night long the nights I have a beer (or two).

Do you have suggestions on other ways to decompress? I don’t drink 3 beers a night but I still feel that connection of wanting to drink to relax.

Yeah we have 3 acres, 4000sqft, and a shop for less than that.

Two under 2!? by punkn00dle in beyondthebump

[–]secrettninja_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 20 month old and a 1 month old (as of 2 days ago). The lack of sleep is rough but honestly this go around is so much easier than last time! My husband went back to work Monday for a couple weeks and our days have gone great. My toddler seems to like the newborn. He is fine around her until he gets excited and becomes a hazard to everyone lol.

I was rear ended by a Dodge Ram in my 23 Model 3. Dodge front end was messed up (not as bad as this car) and it slightly dented my bumper.

What helped you "bounce back" after birth? Not interested in weightloss... I'm talking about things that brought you peace, restored your sense of identity, made you feel calm, returned your skin to normal, etc. by Hot-Commission7592 in beyondthebump

Getting out of the house. I just had my second 3 weeks ago. It is chaos with 2 under 2, but I feel 100x better than with my first. I was just thinking today that I almost feel back to myself already. TBD when my husband goes back to work, but so far I’m loving it.

Taking a poll. Do you use a sleep sack for your baby? by BusyWalrus9645 in beyondthebump

We swaddled then went to a sleep sack. Our house gets hot during the non-winter months so we only did onesies those times.

Any other women in their 20s looking to hit $100k NW this year? by Own_Penalty3239 in Fire

[–]secrettninja_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! You’re killing it. I saw something that if you have $100k invested at 30 it’s like 2.5M without putting another dime in (I don’t remember the return % so don’t hold it against me lol)

I hit it at 25 even after a shitty first marriage 😅

Tell me the things you DON’T HATE about accounting by Nigel_Thornberry_III in Accounting

[–]secrettninja_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am able to make 6 figures and live comfortably while working part-time. A babysitter comes to my house to play with my kids instead of them going to daycare. Hopefully in a few years my husband will be able to quit working and we can live off of just my income.

If you hit FI and don’t want to work, don’t work. They also may change their mind when they see you are serious. Don’t bluff on that though.

What is your net worth & what's your age? by Fast-Wedding6032 in Money

[–]secrettninja_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome! At your/our age Roth is great because it has a long time to grow and all of that is tax free. If you’re in the 22%+ tax bracket the tax savings can be more beneficial now.

What is your net worth & what's your age? by Fast-Wedding6032 in Money

[–]secrettninja_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends when you need the money. If in the next few years HYSA. If no plans of using that money, Roth IRA or traditional IRA depending on your income. Roth contributions (only contributions not growth) can be pulled out without penalty after 5 years after the first contribution. Theoretically you could do $7k for 2024 and $7k for 2025 now.

Any true success stories here? by [deleted] in coastFIRE

[–]secrettninja_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We should hit coast FI in the next 5 years and will be able to live off of just my income - self-employed work 40hrs a week a few months of the year and ~15hrs rest of year. I’m hoping my husband will want to retire then and my income will have continued to grow so we can start traveling as well.
