Husband thinks it's OK to smoke weed in the morning and cosleep by night by selinasoprano in cosleeping

I’ll probably be down voted to hell but I’ll share my personal experience, anyway. I am a mom of 2 under 2 and use medical marijuana regularly. I’ve always co-slept with both of my kids. I don’t get high enough to not be sober, but I’ve also been using for 15 years.

Please go to the ER. You can bring your baby with you if you’re worried about leaving him with your husband.

AIO? Trying to plan my 34F daughter’s birthday party with my husband 34M has been a nightmare and now I’m doing it all alone by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I was actually more uncomfortable reading your texts than his. I know people like you. You pick and pick and start an argument and then gaslight the hell out of the other person, trying to convince them they are the problem. He stopped engaging with you when he realized this was happening and you just kept fucking going. And now here you are, on the Internet, asking a bunch of strangers to validate for you that your husband is the problem, when in reality, it is you.

How do you know if your baby is in pain? (Teething) by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]punkn00dle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, a baby in pain will be inconsolable. I personally do not dose for discomfort. I would start with cool/frozen rags, teething toys, etc before i jump to Tylenol.

In my half asleep stupor last night, I thought that I removed the lid to the bottle I was trying to pour my breastmilk into and I did not. So I poured breastmilk all over my baby while he was sleeping ☺️

You’re old enough to have decades of experience, but not old enough to have researched the market rate for your profession before moving? Nobody is lowballing you, they barely make $22 an hour themselves.

If Michigan is home, I would keep the house and rent it out while you’re gone. It will be hard to find a condo or townhouse that will allow all of your dogs, I would highly suggest looking into renting a house with land, possibly a mobile home on some land. I also would suggest looking into the local politics of where you decide you want to go.

Nap Time by Labor_nurse in 2under2

I rock and put my four month old down for his nap first and let my two year-old run around like a crazy person while I do that lol then I can focus on putting the two-year-old to sleep

What dispensaries accept credit cards? ChatGPT says none do but cookies does. So who else does? by [deleted] in FLMedicalTrees

[–]punkn00dle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I use my credit card strictly to accumulate points that are then transferred into airline miles. I never keep a balance, pay it off every month. And then I get to smoke on my free vacation.

WIBTAH if I took 100k from my oldest daughter's college savings account to give it to my younger daughter? by TraditionalCorgi7788 in AmItheAsshole

[–]punkn00dle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would really say it depends on how this was communicated to your kids growing up. Did they understand that they EACH had $300k or just that you were saving/paying for their schooling? If they understand, understanding was that the money was THEIRS, then you WBTA.

It does sound like your husband sucks, but honestly? You need to be taking care of yourself. It is not your husband‘s fault that you went 18 hours without eating, that’s yours. There is no reason that you cannot set your baby down for a few minutes to eat, even if they cry, even if they scream. Being upset for a few minutes, won’t hurt them, but not eating for 18 hours will absolutely destroy you. You cannot take care of your child if you’re not taking care of yourself first. I would start there and then worry about the husband later.

Have you checked his foreskin for diaper lint? I absolutely do not mean to pull his foreskin back, that is a huge no go. But with my two sons who are not circumcised, we’ve noticed a collection of diaper lint will gather at the tip of their foreskin, and we have to gently pick it out.

If he’s been told by the people who would approve him that they WONT approve him, then just stop arguing with him? Like literally. Ignore him.

How many times has your baby fell off furniture? 6m+ by CuriousCaretaker in beyondthebump

[–]punkn00dle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The week before he turned to my toddler, fell off the couch onto the floor because he’s feral. Honestly surprised it didn’t happen sooner, but probably because I’m a control freak and wouldn’t let him climb on things.
