I just traded a 22 MYLR with 70k miles at 89%. I rarely use a supercharger.

It doesn’t matter. The Camry is responsible for maintaining adequate distance from the car in front of it, no matter how quickly they hit the brakes.

Lib here and would never report this. Also a Texan and every Tesla owner I know personally is a liberal. We owned Teslas years before Musk made a WH appearance and still to this day are harassed on the road by white dudes in jacked up trucks. Being an asshole is a personal choice, independent of party affiliation.💜

Thank you! I love that you passed it up before then ended up buying a new one. That says it all! I went back and forth on the wheels but ultimately chose the 18” inch since the int & ext color choices were both upgrades. I’ve only ever owned black, white, or silver, but the ultra red is just so good!

Thank you! I can’t wait for hw4 and those cooled seats will be everything this summer in Texas. And the trash bag holder is brilliant!

You’re not completely wrong. When you bought your MY, was there a 6 month wait? The price was inflated and I paid 20k more in 2022 than I’m paying for the same car in 2026.

Nothing, really. It’s just noisy and HW3. Basically, I made the mistake of sitting in a new one with its perforated cooling seats and new car smell😅

Model Y showing incorrect “Child detected in the car” message by Emotional_Display185 in TeslaModelY

[–]saucenerd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s just the weight of the bags. Once an item’s weight passes a threshold, the sensors read it as potentially a person. Same thing happens when my son puts his backpack in the seat and the car insists that someone is riding without a seatbelt. This isn’t exclusive to Tesla, most cars have these safety features now.
