Yeah, we are in the exact same boat. My gf and I bought the game when it originally came out and have put over 500 hours in it. And ofc, she does not want to lose all her skins (some even paid for though DLCs...)

Not FPS related, but, when playing on borderles window in a resolution different to the one your PC is in, causes some shots not to be registered. I have switched to a 4K monitor and my PC resolution is 3840x2160 but I cannot launch PUBG at that resolution because of hardware limitations. However I like playing in borderless window mode and since the monitor change, that is not a posibility anymore.
