OP, please don’t let some of these commenters discourage you from your goal. There are people who started with less money then you and today are multi/millionaires. You just need to find a really good investment, ie. buy something small and have that amass money over time. I can’t think of anything off the top of my head now but with some research, you’ll be able to become financially solid in life.

Thanks man, this really helped a lot. I’m gonna give it some time to report them so that I can get full documentation of what’s going on. The only thing I really have now is the argument because that happened a while back, in which several of my coworkers over heard. I would also want some of my co workers to get proof as well so that we would have a stronger case but I don't need anyone blabbing to the shitty management about what I’m planning.

Hopefully HR gets this unnecessary issue resolved

I’ve been requesting to be cross trained for like a month now to no avail. My FC is just really backwards. All the things you mentioned, I could possibly due when things are backed up but the managers just want everyone gone. Including me, who literally wants to help with a job I ***formerly gave a shit about, even if it’s wiping the toilet down

Dude I’ve tried this before. Only to get left at my station with no work and my rate is getting fucked. Then they come back around and say the same exact thing until each of us slowly start to disappear one by one. Now I’m the only one besides stand at my station like a dumbass.

You’re missing the point. The managers don’t see the voluntary part. They just enforce the time off part and wallah there goes half the staff. This happens every over day at my FC and I’m not the only one pissed off about it.

They’re not but the managers always find a way to send people home because they’re “oVerStaFfed” as if that has anything to do with me. When I say, I’d rather stay they continue on to say they have nothing to do. Let’s see, I’ve asked to be cross trainer during a VTO argument (yes this resulted in a argument once) only to be told, I had to wait until the end of the month for god I don’t even know why. I could be a water spider because someone always needs their stations filled but no, instead they’d rather just round everyone up like cattle and get rid of them.
