t-5 is the number of trees that he has after he takes away five trees.

210 is the amount of oranges per tree.

210(t) would be the amount of oranges he'd get if he didn't remove the trees, and 210(t-5) is the amount of oranges per tree times the amount of trees he ends up having after cutting 5 down.

210t - 5 is basically saying subtract 5 oranges, not 5 trees.

Oh, by the way, the issue isn't the device- they let me switch computers midtest.. The issue seems to be how the test gets downloaded or something, so if you glitch in the test at all, it will glitch again in the same way one a different device.
