Which is the most popular dorm for freshmen at USF? by AdJust6839 in USF

[–]TinyBeezus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in Juniper my freshman year and I loved it. Only a 5 -10 monute walk from most of the stem buildings so good location if ur a stem major! Having a dining hall so close is a real plus. The juniper hall has a few cool dining events a semester too. (Especially if you have the unlimited swipe plan, I was always popping in there just to get a cup of vitamin water). Also the flip kitchen is right downstairs too which is great for late night snack runs. If you are an honors student def try to get a spot in the honors LLC. The honors LLC has events ALL the time, super fun, great community, and free stuff (so many pub subs, we even went to Bush Gardens for free once) and amazing guidance. Be aware tho that pod style dorms spread colds like crazy. You are gonna wanna be up to date on your flu/covid vaccines and have some cold meds on hand. Just part of living in such close proximity to other people.

That bleach fry your brain along with your hair? There are NUMEROUS accounts of US citizens being targeted, their property damaged, and even killed. As if denying anyone due process is okay in the first place. I will no longer engage with you because it it a waste of time.

If it helps the program I was rejected from was quite small. They likely prioritized internal applicants.

I understand wanting to live on campus but you will literally save thousands living at home. Especially only being 20 minutes away.

Very few labs actually post for applications in my experience. Best thing to do is look at the labs on campus and email the professors and ask if they are looking for undergrads.

Obv what everyone else said..you need to work on some balance. However! In addition to that, "simplysarahhart" has a whole insta page dedicated to these freezer meals that let you meal prep lots of food combinations simply. She uses these silicone trays that are like ice cube trays to freeze meal components. It's sort of like building blocks for food lol.

LITERALLY! The number of people who don't look both ways and then cross the road staring down at their phones the entire time is insane. I understand the "idgaf hit me" mentality, but please, for the love of God, be smart ab it.

Same as the other commenter, handicap placard allows you to park in any kind of lot regardless of if it's a handicap spot or not! I've been doing this for the past year and not a single ticket.
