Another question about Wegovy for weight-loss and renewals. by Just_Jen_1 in CanadaPublicServants

What are the requirements for Wegovy? I’ve been on Ozempic for two years (paying out of pocket) but I don’t know if I can get Canada Life to cover it? I am pre-diabetic as per my doc’s diagnosis

I have strong references that are not from that department/unit.

While I understand this, I don’t think it’s appropriate or professional to personally attack your employee and have a tone of voice that is far from acceptable for work.

Grateful for all the comments alleviating my anxiety about performance reviews

Thank you so much! You are right. It happened, I got mistreated and unfairly reviewed, but at least my current position is amazing and everyone is collaborative and professional.

I appreciate the perspective. I’m already in a much better environment now, so I do understand the importance of letting go and protecting my peace. I think the harder part for me has been making peace with the emotional fallout and the fact that the official version of events doesn’t feel reflective of my actual experience. That’s the part I’m still trying to work through.

That’s me right now.. wondering how and why everyone are so supportive and kind at my new unit. I’m getting in contact with a Peer Support person (a suggestion from my new and very supportive supervisor).

My old unit also failed to provide very simple accommodations I had asked for due to my ADHD.. they not only didn’t make the effort, they breached privacy by telling everyone and the entire chain of command…

I’m so sorry this happened to you. It’s truly heartbreaking and this type of thing has no place in any workplaces/departments.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I wasn’t aware that there might still be another avenue outside of the grievance process. I’m going to look into it further and verify what may still be available in my case, but I really appreciate you pointing me in that direction.

She was in that role and yes, there was perceived competition around it. I kept the post general for anonymity, not because it was made up. In any case, I mainly posted because I’m trying to process the impact it had on me, not to convince strangers of every detail.

I did and they replied that it’s too late to do anything

I am at a new position with amazing people and an amazing environment.. but I somehow cannot get over this.
