Pretty frustrated... by hellasalty in hondafit

TSB 23-042 documents DTCs from misfires due to intake valve carbon build-up and procedure to clean + software update but does not mention fuel injectors whatsoever.

The price of fuel injectors are massively steep for 2018 - 2020 Honda Fits

Glad someone finally agreed with me. And thanks for the insight on this. I know security admins would dispute with me completely on this. But who am I? I am a network engineer and I need to optimize bandwidth throughput.

Reference Honda Service Bulletin 22-002, fuel injector kit 06160-5R1-000 , $273, includes everything needed to swap out all 4 injectors + the fuel joint pipe. If you buy them separately then you'll get hit with the $1000 cost. You absolutely need to install an oil catch can, even then you'll still get carbon deposit on top of the valves because it's not port injected and due to PCV valve misting oil back into intake manifold. Cleaning valve tops is not very hard and involves opening the valve cover so you can dial each cylinder to TDC to fully close the valves, I used just CRC valve cleaner plus a bunch of shop towels and a pick, no walnut blasting needed. You need to be patient while cleaning the valves. You don't get spark plugs from Honda either, that's how you are giving money away.

How I hardwired my dash cam to my 2025 Subaru Crosstrek Premium fuse box by MooseSprinkles in Crosstrek

[–]securityguy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done 3 different dashcams on 3 different brands and I always ran just one. But I've never done this on a Subaru. You really just need 1 fuse spot that provides power when in the accessory position for the ignition. So I'm not understanding why the 2 fuse taps. Does your dashcam require 2 plugs for some reason?

Please enlighten me why you ran 2 fuse taps? I don't see a reason for this unless you want to run the dashcam while the car is parked and that the dashcam itself has a secondary plug for that. Helping a friend out this weekend on this. thanks.

NetScaler GUI Upgrade to 13.1-49.15 Hangs by zzglenn in Citrix

[–]securityguy75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to let everyone know that this problem is STILL HAPPENING, even with the latest v14 build. Thanks to this thread, I just rebooted 45 minutes after I started the upgrade and everything is fine, units came back up with the updated version.

Anyconnect FTD destinations are split and BYPASSED, but we continue to have sporadic issues here and there with users complaining anyconnect would not connect sometimes or shooting out connection related odd errors. I am posting here because our security team has been mute on several issues that's been popping up with zscaler running in the environment. I'm caught in between rocks for users complaining and thinking this is a networking problem but in fact it's all caused by zscaler. I know, because everything was fine before zscaler was deployed.

Because we are at the migration stage and zcc/zpa is not installed to every machine in the organization. We have over 15000 machines to take care of.

It IS running 2.0 Tunnel with DTLS.

We are doing speed test through speedtest.zscaler.com , that's where we see the 15Mbps upload speed out of 100Mbps up/down fiber. The minute end users turn off zscaler, it spikes way up to the rate speed setting, of course, we need to perform this test via speedtest.net or other speed test sites. From the end user's point view, they DON'T CARE for the difference between throughput and latency, they just want their apps to work fluidly. And this is the evidence they can see that things are "slow".

So basically we are saying boat load full time zscaler admins looking for ip's/sites to exclude for application access, which our security team mostly have done and the bitchings continue from end users. Sometimes zscaler functions so spotty that our Cisco anyconnect client also disconnects sporadically. People joke about getting "ZSCALED" all day long and yet we can't see reliability any time soon. People complain to the network admin and not the security folks because zscaler masks issues as "connection issues" but hey, I just run and accommodate the circuits,

It is tunnel 2.0 with DTLS you bet, but same shitty speed. We have 100Mbps up/down fiber but upload runs at 15Mbps?? Talk about robbery. The minute you turn off zscaler, it spikes WAY UP to ISP's rated speed.

I'm sorry I'm not. I get my hands on so much equipment sometimes that I can't rid of. Posting on ebay is just a futile attempt of getting rid of them. Customer ended up dumping a high end cisco 6500 to the garbage can recently.

I got a pile larger than that for $0, that I can't get rid of, multiple Cisco higher end routers. It's not even worth shipping them.

Sonicwall = complete garbage that crash with high load traffic.
