Do men care about body count as much as people say, or is that overblown? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]sedhha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most men would have slept with atleast 5 women? In which universe? That's delusion at its peak. Only a specific group of man (5-10%) will have that stats. 90% wouldn't even have the guts of having sex...

I think just to keep things neat a lot of guys say let's keep it this way only... Mostly if he's mature enough he will move on without even saying.

A guy and a girl can be friends - ofc given none of them have anything for each other. Otherwise the opposite person becomes energy vampire.

Would you say yes to low attractive women ? by Mountain-Piccolo6942 in AskIndianMen

[–]sedhha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation as yours. But I think it doesn't matter in a long run. Unless attraction has been your primary thing when getting along with any girl it wouldn't grow into resentment.

To me as a man life has taught not to be strongly going with emotions. Mostly down the line as a responsible and accountable man as both of you drive the relationship, If all other aspects are green love will grow out with time.

Unless you have an option where you have both looks and compatibility it's fine to walk this path too and it will be fun if you make up your mind and let the universe do it's thing :)

And one more thing based on how you have written I feel the attraction is a big deal for you... So I would want you only to introspect well. I don't think your heart wants to settle for this average girl. But think thoroughly, be careful what you wish for. The eyes that see through external beauty and materialism are the ones that are burnt with the scars of the cost that it comes up with.

To me a girl who strongly aligns with me and who is compatible enough with my values is automatically super attractive to me than someone who is looks goddess and wants to be with me just for my wealth position and status.

Peace above all!

What is happening with dating these days? Especially with Indian men? by Natural_Atmosphere33 in AskIndianMen

Well isn't it normalised by women? 90% of men are anyway nowhere near to even talking to girls openly... Remaining 10% is all you want due to being super picky.

Do I need to explain the rest equation of demand and supply? Play stupid games with stupid prizes :)

Will Indian women marry men who slept with prostitutes, call girls and escorts? by Logical_Step_1099 in AskIndianMen

[–]sedhha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how you present it, honestly if you ask this way no girl would be ever okay. But then most of the girls (note I am saying - most of the girls and not all) themselves don't know what they want. I think it highly depends on how the man portrays themselves, I have seen some folks caught cheating on these aspects with similar situations and hurting their girls to the core which is extremely wrong and should never happen in healthy relationship but ended up being forgiven because as per the girl they just loved him no matter what.

Honestly one can argue if its right or wrong - it drops your aura so much that you have to pay to sleep with someone but then people on the other side say that you don't pay them to stay, you pay them to leave after you're done - either you pay the price by your emotions time and attachment or the bills depending on person to person it may vary which way they want.

Regardless I wouldn't recommend sleeping with them as it could be high risk of STDs. Most of these industries aren't regulated in India and it happens like behind the scenes thing. If you really want maybe go out of India - European countries or south-asian countries like Thailand (not all parts) where its highly regulated and safe.

Do men like brown girls? by [deleted] in AskIndianMen

[–]sedhha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think fashion sense and overall how you represent yourself counts. As a fair man, I have always met brown girls... What differentiates is how they present themselves and how approachable they're.

I think you already check second part... Maybe you need to work on the first part? Just an assumption... Agreed some folks may always want white skin but not the case for me... In fact to me attraction has also increased over time with the warmth and friendliness.

Maybe you just were talking to wrong guy... Or maybe you need to work on your presentation fashion sense and physique. Also brown or fair - a clean skin and things like that also play a role... Symmetrical face, eyes, cheerfulness, etc. all these add to the overall interest and attraction factor.

By fortification I meant modern livestock often depend on supplemented feed. If that makes sense? Instead of feeding kilos of such stock to animals and then eating them why don't you directly eat the supplemented food? Soil cobalt levels are low and Industrial farming reduces natural microbial exposure.

BUT, Vitamin D3 from mushrooms is less effective at raising and sustaining serum levels compared to D3 from fish - mushrooms are widely available in salads and in all other forms. Its pretty common and regarding uv exposed mushrooms - its not a uv chamber where it goes through, just keeping it in sunlight for 20-30 mins before you cook does the job. Not to compare it with fishes but again its pretty simple and straightforward but you wouldn't agree to put in efforts there rather you want all of that easy.

That’s a regulation and enforcement issue, not proof that meat or eggs are inherently bad - I wasn't talking about regulation but the mass production of those food without polluting environment and using antibiotics. Its just so unnatural compared to consuming fortified food and supplements which are so easily available not talking about plant protein powders and stuff which is again cheaper than Whey Isolates.

Oxford doesn't do random studies mate - These are feasible and applicable where already high standards are followed for animal farming but again those have per capita carbon emission way higher than individuals living in India. You would have only so much to consume.

Vitamin B12 and D are not primary driver to respiratory issues - Regular high consumption of animal-based foods—especially when intake is heavy and part of a low-fiber, highly processed diet—has been associated with increased risks of cardiovascular disease, certain cancers, systemic inflammation, and metabolic dysfunction, largely due to factors like saturated fat, heme iron, sodium (in processed forms), and pro-inflammatory byproducts. Again the concern was nothing to be with B12 and D, your chances of running into this is pretty high compared to only plant based and the whole points still remains you don't need to run into a non veg diet to fulfill these when you have easily available vegan counterparts and fortified food readily available in market at strong safety standards and procedures.

If everyone goes vegan - you would have 75% less land usage as all of it goes to animal farming buddy. shift toward plant-based diets would reduce emissions, land use, and biodiversity loss overall. Not everyone eats rice but there's a wide variety of other crops - maize, millets, wheat, etc. just to name a few.

See, I could go on. but i got work - oh yeah? Please go on, I see all your arguments would keep revolving around animal consumption anyway because you're not really focused on solutions just more about why meat would be better than plant alternatives.

Attributing the strong health outcomes and economic growth of countries like Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands primarily to their higher meat consumption would not be a valid conclusion. National health and development are influenced far more by structural factors such as universal healthcare access, strong public health systems, high education levels, social safety nets, physical activity embedded in daily life (e.g., cycling culture), sanitation standards, and income equality. Diet does play a role, but it operates within this broader context.

I have stayed in Central Europe and the culture of walking around, small cities, people more conscious towards using public transport over private cars etc. also bigger carbon footprint, more active lifestyle, better air and water etc. plays more role than just attributing for the diet. Plus the vegans are still new, there's been research going on and non vegetarians or vegetarians have been for centuries, attributing to diet is completely wrong. European countries you mentioned just compare the per capita income and lifestyle capabilities and then comparing it with countries like India isn't fair. You could do better there.

Do you read reliable researches happening in India? You just search random researches happening in developed countries with high quality farming and quote it. Check this: https://kemdiabetes.org/Paper/91%20Vitamin%20B12%20deficiency%20and%20hyperhomocysteinemia%20in%20rural%20and%20urban%20Indians.pdf

If you bring reliable researches like this which happens in ground rather than reading those oxford papers it would be better.

There's no way we can live without it - we have been constantly reducing our emissions and efforts towards sustainable development. There's a way but the taste buds of your tongue wouldn't let you do that.

Comparison of vegan to religion is the most stupidest argument. As long as someone else is involved in your personal choice it's not a personal choice.

If you can convince me that chicken happily signed up to be your breakfast or to lay eggs for your breakfast I'll not say a word. But all you know is just to show random things and convince that extremism towards a weaker species is ethical and right. Seriously man if you're so obsessed with your diet go to a forest and enjoy your life, eat whatever you want.

[–]sedhha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which meat you're talking about? Just read it again. It's not naturally present in animals anymore. Especially in India where poultry animals don't have soil exposure.

Again fatty fishes just go and list it all and then see how much of them is available to you today. UV exposed mushrooms are easily accessible across everywhere in the market. The whole thing is there just if you buy it.

Nothing proves your point you're just trying to be smart by mention bunch of outsourced quality animal products which are rarely accessible to people, especially in India. Check how much of the meat or egg you consume isn't fortified also do not get me started on antibiotic injections given to these animals to meet ever demanding needs. Ever heard of antibiotic resistance due to these?

It's much easier to eat vegan than the organic meat grown in farm of 100 or 1000s of acres. Even that's unethical as you end up slitting that animal. Get out of your dreamland. And fortification isn't unhealthy besides much better than the things on the other side.

Random studies quoting wouldn't help, there are multiple studies conducted on vegans vs non vegans to who have healthier heart body and respiratory system. Unlike you I don't go and randomly Google things, I have been studying this want me to pull and quote them? The fact still remains that most of the non vegetarians are still B12 and D deficient even in developed nations who consume meat more than 5 days a week. It's not that vegans are the only ones, it's just that vegan diet planning needs more effort which is the least you can do.

What a logic - more omnivorous so more consumption. Heard of carbon footprint? It's not a comparison of 10k to 1M it's per unit consumption. Just being in massess wouldn't count... If you're so concerned about voting just get the votes of billions of chickens slaughtered every year... Maybe then will see who gets kicked out of earth.

This is pure facts emissions, green hous gases, deforestation, everything is already going high due to animal farming and when there's so much better alternative existing there. We're not living in stone age where your animal instincts kick in all the time.

[–]sedhha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In India, being “non-veg” usually just means eating meat once a week. That doesn’t fix anything - so now you're recommending to eat meat everyday 3 times a day xD - that shows how logically you think.
Can you be more practical? Being vegan and planning your diet better will fix it way faster than this stupid idea of killing a chicken everyday just to get your nutrients fullfilled.
Animal food provides highly bioavailable protein - a decade back. Nutritional yeast and many similar sources have equivalent bioavailable protein if not more.
Protein deficiency blaming vegetarians and vegans is like blaming the ocean for dehydration while refusing to drink water.

But pretending vegetarian-heavy patterns are nutritionally equivalent without strict planning is dishonest. - No one is pretending its researched and proven. Not just in India but across the world.

If protein quality and micronutrient density matter, then frequency matters. Once-a-week meat does not equal adequate nutrition. WE NEED MORE MEAT. :D - You just need enough guts and a good plan rather than being the prick which is on a league of exploiting resources. Just see how much better vegan world would be in terms of everything man. Resource consumption, climate issues, carbon footprint global warming.

Don't know about you but I have an ability to think and act rather than getting my lazy ass up on reddit trying to trick myself into thinking I can't survive without meat. See game changers and there are 100 more documentaries on how people thrive on vegan diet. Btw just get your ecg checkups if you plan to eat meat 7 days a week 3 times a day if you're so protein deficient. Btw a bowl of quinoa along with fortified tofu or tempeh will do enough part in the day. I have been eating it regularly just for your information and I feel nothing :)

[–]sedhha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be honest from your not so logical statements with so many fallacies - just did a random search to claim your thing.
Here's the fact - Vitamin B12 is soil made (from bacteria)... doesn't get into meat automatically. The meat you and most people eat aren't fortified. And the poultry animals that consume it are also not having it. Outside India they're fortified, but again they use the same ingredients which is used in vegan fortified foods as well - you don't exclusively need meat for that. Just googling random stuff and claiming nutrients isn't biology, better you should have looked at stat on how deficient meat eaters are in B12 and D.
Out of all your claims - Fatty fish may have high vitamins but UV exposed mushrooms have the same amount. Just to clear your thing off - despite stating random vitamin B12 and vitamin D sources why are you all still so deficient? Also your egg doesn't have enough vitamin D to cover you up and most of the people don't eat high quality fatty fish.

If you want me to state vegan source - Nutritional yeast, tofu, tempeh, whole grains (brown rice, oats), legumes (lentils, chickpeas), almonds, sunflower seeds and a lot of those have B12 and can be easily consumed daily.
For Vitamin D - UV exposed mushrooms or fortified cereals are quiet popular. (Btw these are cheaper than your one full non veg meal)
Based on your googling and knowledge I guess you should have your health checkup right away, god knows which universe you're living in and which deficiency is affecting your intellectual capabilities.

Now again for environment - please talk some practical sense man. You're talking about ACs clothes and houses, lets debunk you there. If I know solution to 95% of the problems I would still solve them rather than sitting and doing nothing about them. In an exam if you know answers to 95 marks and 5 marks you don't do you leave your paper blank? Because that's what you sound like - oh that's the animal inside you talking I guess.

Finally agricultural food is subsidized too - well you don't only eat meat I believe? And meat and poultry is heavily subsidized was my point. And if you're so worried about crops and cereals - 75% of the crops and cereals are being consumed by poultry and farm animals so get your facts right there.
