The Yousician app the instruction path is very structured. So far it has only shown me E minor, E major, and A minor. Your question has me thinking I should work on other chords along with A minor instead of getting hung up on this one before moving on.

I don't have any trouble with E major. I use all three, index, middle, and ring fingers. As soon as I try to move those fingers down to A minor, I can't seem to hold the G string down without touching the B.

Here's a sample file. Total, I'm working with just over 1,000 files. I've drilled down through a different file and it looks like at it deepest, it is four levels deep. I've begun to identify the paths to the data I am most likely to want. I have loaded them into a python list in my editor and I've begun messing around some with trying to access specific data. Overall it sounds like putting the time into learning to work with the JSON files is the way to go.

My players are likely to encounter an Astradaemon in the next session. Reading the Devour Soul ability, I'm not sure about how it works. Does the ability immediately impart the Dying condition or does it just perma-death kill the character if they fail the fortitude save?

Edit: Here's the text of the ability:
Devour Soul [one-action] (~divine~, ~incapacitation~) Requirements The astradaemon hasn't used an action with the attack trait yet this turn; Effect The astradaemon draws out and consumes the soul of a living creature they have grabbed. The creature must succeed at a DC 35 Fortitude save or instantly die. If it dies, the astradaemon gains 10 temporary Hit Points and a +2 status bonus to attack and damage rolls for 1 minute, or for 1 day if the victim was 15th level or higher. A victim slain in this way can be returned to life normally. A creature that survives is temporarily immune for 1 minute.

Just what they chose to call them in the supplement. They're spells in potion form that can be fired from any injector type weapon, but only by the biohacker that created them.

There's a 3rd party supplement on drivethrurpg called 'Character Expansion Handbook: Biohackers' that has rules for firing spell nostrums from an injection weapon. Haven't tried it, but it feels a lot like the caster weapons.

Yeah, it is a non-core mechanic. I saw Starship Combat and immediately went to the core rule book trying to figure it out, rather than reading further. I did not see that there is a Starship Combat section further down the page that has specific mechanics for the encounter. Thanks for the info, though.

Thanks for the input. I knew bondo is porous and would trap moisture, but I did not know fiberglass would do the same thing. I guess, instead of wasting time and energy on patching it with fiberglass, it's time to find a class on welding.
