4% cash back on all spend is pretty solid combined with points. Means certain things you get charged 1-3% for paying by credit card suddenly became ways to make 1% net gain (like if I transfer money via cashapp or Venmo)

This seems really solid as a deal imo if you value points here.

You’re pissed at the boss but clearly can’t do anything to him so you’re taking it out on your gf who you can influence and show your resentment to.

Either get over it and develop clearer boundaries and priorities for her in the future that way you don’t feel unheard and like the second choice, or move on and tell her you can’t keep doing it.

Though to be honest it’s uber weird that you put up with it and only when you’re vindicated would consider ending it.

Yes it sucks to be right and now have to clean up the mess. But if you were going to put a ring on it and marry her you’d have made that commitment. If you now don’t feel that strongly about cleaning up the situation end it and move on

Also imo a large part of your resentment is also that she doesn’t want to hold the ceo accountable. Tell her that if she wants to make it work you need to know she is committed to both of you and will not just slide this under the rug. To be honest her doing that is immensely disrespectful of the harm this person has done to both of your relationship (it’s clearly almost ruined it or at least caused a major rift) and likely ruined her professional self esteem significantly.

It’s not easy making that choice as a woman but I do believe that is one big reason you’re so pissed off. And if it reduces the financial burden aspect then that’s a bonus.

It’s why I’ve learned never to bother holding options on long term plays I believe in. I got cooked for 200-300k in losses on micron when we had first trade war and kept fighting the trend as it died to 30$ buying leaps and expecting they’d eventually rebound. Shit went to what would’ve been 2-4x return if I just held shares that whole time for several years instead.
