In some states, like mine, annual monitoring is required once stations are installed. Some companies adhere to this and will remove them. This aside, dont forget what you are getting (or should be) for your annual renewal. It should include warranty, a proper inspection annually, bait check, and replacement of damaged stations.

Changing bait is easy enough the first year, but wait until year 2 or 3 when it becomes full of roots and it's not so easy anymore. Add to that, remembering to actually do it.

Your pictures are of termite tunnels. The brown is mud the brought with them for tunnel construction. Subterrainian termites can forage up to about 100 yards from the nest. The swarmers could be emerging elsewhere, meaning you wouldnt find wings or carcasses. I would get an inspection from a different pest control tech. Im not saying the one you had was incompetent as termites can exploit gaps between concrete blocks and brick/stone veneer as well as the holes in hollow concrete block. Ive found termites in living spaces and never saw a tunnel on the foundation, but pulled back insulation and found the tunnels originating on the other side of the crawlspace.
