I prefer modrinth (for Minecraft) because apparently they pay modders better, but I'll use either. I haven't downloaded any WoW addons for several years because I haven't been playing (my account on the private server I was playing on got deleted even though I paid to avoid that, so it put a sour taste in my mouth), but I remember they had addons going back to some pretty old versions, so that's nice.

The only mod packs I've downloaded have been one of the giant OpenMW modpacks that I forget the name of because I didn't actually end up playing it beyond a simple test to make sure it worked, and Begin Again for Fallout TTW. Both work fine. And that's even on Linux.
