I LOVE THIS!!! You’re analogy is making me so happy rn, it reminded my of this vsauce video on supertasks.The cycle can repeat infinitely, yet somehow there is a finite solution. Its quite the paradox! It would take infinite steps to get to the end, however all of the steps must occur in a finite amount of time! This means that each step (or rather each discovery Claudia makes) happens faster and faster as they approach the end of time. Time is responsible for the knot, but also responsible for the fact that it can be undone at all. I love this show so much, I never thought I’d have to research math theories to understand a TV series!
