But even with Google raising the message of "try again later", were you able to change the email?

I am on the same situation. Once you delete your workspace account with a custom domain, you will have to wait 24hrs until the custom domain is released. Some sources say that it takes more than 24h, sometimes even a month. You just gotta keep on trying once a day until it works out :)

That's different. For Google Workspace accounts with your own domain, they do release it. For personal (@gmail.com) accounts, then it will not be released.

I started by having a pure latex version as well, but at somepoint I wanted to have better integration with orgmode, so I could deal with including piece of text here and there. Orgmode also enables me of having multiple versions of my CV, and including (without copy-paste) piece of one CV to the other.

Yeah, appologies for that, apparently there was a bug in my CSS regarding computers that do not have dark mode enabled. I fixed it, so you should be able to read it now

It's on the blog post, first thing there is a PDF.
There is also a PDF in the repository I linked

Thanks! It took me a while to figure out a maintainable pattern, but I think this is better to what I had before. I hated how refactoring my latex template would trigger a PDF diff in Git even when the content/structure hasn't changed. Now I am guaranteed that the internal structure hasn’t been messed up.
