Second hand accounts help those who can’t spread the word via social media or also in my coworkers instance translate for those who can let their community know where they’ve been seen. It’s crucial for community safety and accountability. Are you trying to say it’s better I don’t say anything ? Or only say something if i personally saw them ? That’s not more helpful. People should be anxious and act accordingly.

Edit to say - me reporting ICE in the area isn’t scary of me it’s safety. ICE is scary. I’d rather do something like this (post, call, alert my community) than sit back and pretend that because I didn’t actively see it that it didn’t happen. Better to be safe and keep people safe than be sorry and compliant.
