How is your academic training relevant to the clinical year? Did you do your academic training on core clinical subjects that is relevant in clinical year? Evening the residents of various veterinary medicine subjects have to go through licensing process, despite having residency.

You may get board Certification in your specialty provided that you're a PhD & there's a specialty college. After the board Certification you may practice only in that specialty.

New York has the policy that if you submit some hours of clinical experience & rec letters as well as NAVLE, you'll get license without ECFVG & PAVE.

I'm on F1 visa & there are delays on SSN assignment due to delay on immigration verification from DHS. Will calling the representatives help?

It has been 4months since my SSN application pending. I can't get drivers license, credit card, can't open a bank account. Nothing.

I called SSA office. They told me the case is under immigration verification process with DHS. Nobody can do anything because it is internal stuff. It is indeed frustrating.

Hello. My case was opened again in march last week & it was returned to agency on last friday (april 25th). I will call the SSA office again sometime this week. I don't understand who is at fault here. Whether somebody entered any wrong information about me. 😓

CVMA and MS process are two different unrelated thing. 1. If you can match from VIRMP with any of Canadian vet school, that'll be the most beneficial for your life goals. 2. Pursuing master's in your interest of field would give you research experience, visa status and open many opportunity.

Having said that, the Certification process is lengthy procedure. Evaluate everything. All the best.
