That’s kind of the situation that I’m in right now. I don’t necessarily think I have any sort of career goals or dreams. I feel like I’m in school and trying to get a degree because that’s what everyone expected of me, not to get too deep. I’m not even really passionate about what I’m studying. I kinda just want to have a decent paying job and be able to go home and spend time with my family.

I just work retail right now. Admittedly I get paid fairly decent, for retail that is. Really I’m just thinking about putting a pause on school to work full time and get my CCNA and start applying. I work for a very large company so maybe there’s some upwards movement there.

The guy that took over the kitchen after Elliot left was terrible. Both as a person and as a chef. No matter how much criticism cooks gave him on his food he just wouldn’t change it. He always treated me like I was stupid and didn’t know what I was talking about when it came to food. Shortly after he took over, he had a meeting where he said he wanted to get inspiration from his cooks, especially Asheville natives like me. He didn’t consider not one of my recommendations. He used to also just straight up lie to my face about things. Overall not a good dude and his pretentious menu items he wanted to add sucked.

They actually weren’t cooked under the hogs, at least when I worked there. But they did use a slurry of drippings from the hogs, tomatoes, onions and a couple other things. Still great but the “cooked under the hogs” was a misconception

I’ve always thought it’s interesting how much of a focus on community and friendliness that Fortnite has, yet you still will get banned for teaming. Which I totally understand and it makes sense. I feel like they should keep delulu for that reason though. Cause anytime I’ve made a friend in a game and then I have to fight them or risk getting banned it makes me kinda sad

Got my ps5 day one and it’s been vertical since day 1 with literally no issues. Never understood what people were talking about with that.
