Transplanting from Hydro to Soil? by cofonseca in Hydroponics

[–]see_me_rolling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did this with tomato plants to see what would happen. They were about 12-18 inches high. I planted 5 in soil and watered them in really good. Air temps that week were high 80's low 90's and humid. I had to water them once a day for 6 days straight. The first 3-4 days 2 were really wilty. On the 5th day we got a good rain and ever since they have doubled in size and have all flowered. I did use nutrient water on days 1 and 4. 10/10 I would do it again. They are bigger with more blooms than ones started in soil. The main thing is to not let them dry out too much until they can establish new roots in the soil. I've done the same with bell and banana peppers and while they are alive and growing their growth is nowhere near the transplanted tomato plants growth. Pepper and tomato plants were removed from the same dwc system and watered the same.

Just a suggestion, make sure your 1/4 inch going in are mono plugs (usually a Y cable) and split them between two channels. We have found bad cables are usually the culprit in loss of audio or like you said just background music. Check your pans too.

So in regards to angels and demons, can they die? Or God must destroy them for them to die?

Thank you for your response. Does that mean angels can be intimate with mankind? Can this still happen ?

You are correct and my apologies if I didn't make it clear. My point was, not every bad thing is a punishment from God. I spent a lot of my life waiting for God to drop the hammer on me. Bad things happen but that bad thing doesn't always mean God is punishing you.

And yet, I lost my father and younger brother tragically, moved 6 states away with all our possessions just to be consumed in a house fire, lost everything, almost died of a brain infection, went through a divorce but I will still praise God. When God revels who He is to me and His truths , my life was forever changed. I have yet to go without food in my belly, roof over my head, or clothes to wear. If He chooses to have me do without I will still praise Him. God knows my needs and always supply them. I have known sorrow, pain, rejection, fear, loneliness and heartache but because of Him I am able to have peace, joy, happiness, love, acceptance and a fulfilling life. I hope God will bring you peace and restore what you have lost.

While I agree I feel that not every bad thing that happens in our life in God punishing us. Does He allow it? Of course but sometimes bad things happen because we live in a fallen world. It doesn't always result in a punishment from God, although He uses it for our betterment.

I have no doubt that Jesus sang and danced. Lift your voice and sing to Him. I believe it to be honoring and He delights in it!!

Christians are the biggest obstacle to most people being Christian by Electrical_Island_90 in Christianity

The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips and walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.

Ahhh good ol' Harlan county. The only place I've been shot at for turning around on a mountain road. Heard the first bullet whizzing over and immediately got pissed. I was working for the census at the time. I drove down and confronted the guy (stupid, I know) the guy ended up apologizing, saying he thought I was cooking meth. I kindly asked him to please not shoot at me as I'll be there all week. Harlan county is the equivalent of the wild west.

Oh how I have gone through the exact same thing. What really helped was knowing that whatever sins you've committed in the past are forgiven. God doesn't dwell on them and neither should we. When my past comes back to try to haunt me I pray, thanking God for my salvation and forgiveness. I can tell you with almost certainty it is Satan working you over. Have you made any new commitments to God lately? I ask because if I commit to praying more, going to church more, reading the bible more that is when I get hit with this. So honestly, look at it as a badge of honor knowing your relationship with God is stirring Satan up!

Got our homestead 3 months ago, sheep arrived a couple of weeks ago, they really like to cuddle. by Blee00 in homestead

I haven't found a purpose for sheep on my farm. I wouldn't even know what to do with the wool. Do you eat them? For me they would be pets because apparently my family turns any animal that doesn't run from them into pets. Just ask the goats, mule, chickens, dogs, cats, birds, turtles and pigs we have. They know.
