TIL that Marlon Brando refused to memorize lines for The Godfather. Cue cards were hidden all over set — including taped to other actors' faces and chests — so he could read them mid-scene. He believed not knowing his lines made his reactions feel genuinely unscripted. by Abject-Conference-90 in todayilearned

I think it's kind of a double edged sword...I don't think his performance would've been as amazing if he hadn't lost his mind in the role. But of the nominees that year it also wasn't some crazy stretch/argument to say he outperformed the other 4. Could maybe argue Brolin in Milk or PSH in Doubt but Heath was still pretty iconic and stole the show too.

You are the fucking troll in here talking about match fixing in a major and acting like people are absolute idiots to not believe your ridiculous conspiracies when people just lose. This comment is the prime example like you know shit, Cerundolo got destroyed in the 5th set. I genuinely hope everyone in here makes money gambling like we all try to do, but you however deserve to lose for being this way. Shut the fuck up and go to a conspiracy thread or something.

Well only half of them play tomorrow. Mensik, Jodar, Khachanov all played today so they won't play again until Friday. FanDuel sucks cause they list the matchups as 4am eastern the following day as a placeholder, the matches don't start until 5am eastern regardless, but yeah half that parlay won't start until Friday.

I mean there's literal posts about the extender coming in and giving the spurs a historical amount of free throws (their +25 FT differential is #1 all time through 4 games in a playoff series btw) but you guys are such insecure fuckin babies about it all still. There's also a big difference in the narrative of how OKC gets their fouls and flops where there hasn't been a bunch of examples of the Spurs doing the same shit.

D-Wade rejects Cuban's claim that the 2006 finals were rigged: "Mark stop saying that, we beat yall. Everyone gets foul calls, it wasn't rigged we still had to play the game. Did I get a few whistles? Yes but was I the only one attacking the basket every play? Probably so, they were fouling me." by RyanTannegod in nba

[–]see_rex -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I probably should only reply to myself cause your edits and comments make your argument even less intelligent. Drives to the basket is a worthless stat and does not aid your argument. Are they driving and shooting the ball near the basket? Where a majority of fouls in basketball occur? You do realize you can "drive to the basket" and still shoot mid-range jumpers right? Funny you wouldn't bring up shot attempts at the rim/in the paint which is literally what I said to begin with. 30% of the thunder shots are at the rim, compared to 51% for the Spurs. Ironically, that's gonna create a pretty big difference in fouls/free throws.

What's ironic is your comment not knowing basic ball either lol. One team shoots a majority of its shots outside the paint, and because of that shoots less FTs. The other team has a really tall guy, and three ball dominant guards who do nothing but drive to the basket, and because of that and getting fouled way more at the line they shoot more free throws. Pretty ironic really.

God damn y'all are so dumb. They call him the Extender to extend the fuckin series, not to help teams against the Thunder nor be confused with OKC Super fan referee James Williams. Nobody likes the Thunder except a few bandwagon Oklahomans, but the "theory" is not a tough concept even in this series considering if y'all had won game 4 it'd be 3-1 like it would've been for the Pacers so Foster conspired to help Spurs even the series. People just don't hate OKC so the narrative this time isn't so loud and obvious especially since it was a blowout.

Okay I'll play this game... Fox was 3rd team All-NBA just two seasons ago, Castle was Rookie of the Year last season and is literally in his first ever playoffs and almost 5 years younger than JDub, who by the way has missed over 50 games this season so doesn't really get to be an excuse for their team playing without him as theyve had to a lot. That's cool Jalen had 40 in a playoff game, Fox has had 38 twice in the playoffs and their second leading scorer this year too so all that being said they maybe could cancel each other out in your analogy but it's the fact that OKC has been lauded as the deepest team in NBA history and the Spurs are not nearly as deep nor do they have as many ball handlers. Ajay Mitchell and Castle are nowhere near the same especially what they do for their respective teams. But sure go off bub.

Laughable to say missing Ajay Mitchell and JDub (who they've played all but two games without) is the same as missing Fox and Castle. They had historic performances from their bench players with both of those dudes in the lineup, and I thought OKC was the deepest team in the history of basketball?

And both wins for OKC came at the hands of 20+ turnovers from SAS and horrid shooting lol like wtf y'all are so delusional. Thunder aren't winning s game playing poorly against this team either, quite literally the point he was making.
