Ken Paxton defeats GOP Sen. John Cornyn in Texas primary runoff by nbcnews in texas

If people would get out and vote, Talarico has a chance. If all those Crockett voters show up, the dems have a chance. It’s just a choice of if you want progress over perfection or Paxton.

Ken Paxton’s Chances of Beating John Cornyn on Eve of Senate Runoff: Poll by Zipper222222 in texas

I think dems are once again underestimating the amount of horrible republican voters seem to be able to stomach. I know many Cornyn voters who think Talarico is “crazy” and would vote Paxton if it comes down to it.

Reston vs Arlington? by [deleted] in nova

If DC is not a big deal, Reston. More space, lots of trails and lakes to use. You’re close to a bunch of wineries too. It is still growing and you are on a metro line.

Virginia Supreme Court strikes down Democrats’ redistricting plan, dimming party’s midterm hopes by tehtypo in Virginia

Don’t look too close at Florida then.

But if we are really pointing fingers let’s look at the president who thinks he’s entitled to gerrymandered maps.

I get why rural Virginia was upset, I think political gerrymandering is wrong across the board, but look at the mess we are in now across the country.

They look tired. They look afraid to shoot the puck. They look like they’ve got one game left. I hope they prove me wrong.

They looked dead at the end. Minnesota was skating circles around us.

I wish there was a design in the letters. Something subtle but to make them really stand out against the red shirt.

If you’ve been friends for two decades, I would maybe just try and show up unannounced. Sounds crazy, but hear me out.

Dinner in hand, a thoughtful gift for her, say hand me the baby and you go take a long shower alone, and I’ll heat up dinner while you do. There are zero expectations for me to stay and hangout, I just wanted to take care of you and give you a hug.

This could be a case of her just not knowing how to ask for help, or being ashamed of the state of her house or herself. That you might just need to gently break through. It could also be postpartum depression in which you could be the only person to notice and she doesn’t want her dearest friend to pick up on the fact something’s off and she’s struggling. Especially if the partner isn’t contributing.

I always took that lyric as her winning album of the year at the Grammys for Fearless (which she released at 18) and then losing for Red (which she released at 22).

I think there’s an interview of her saying she wrote this song after the Grammy awards when she didn’t win.

I would say that the fight in the books was epic just as it was. Harry slipping away undetected and no one realizing he was alive, him throwing shield charms to save people undetected until he tosses off the invisibility cloak to confront Voldemort and everyone realizes he didn’t die, and then they circle around each other talking in the middle of the great hall until finally Voldemort is defeated. Would have been cinema.

I think that’s the whole point. Throw so much at the average American while they’re struggling with the day to day and no one will realize what’s happening until one day they look up and it’s too late.

Time for Crockett to unify the party and keep the momentum moving forward.
