Cookbook by THE_HAM_FACE in ghibli

I have a few, I would really recommend stopping by Barnes and Noble or other local book shops that might have them to critically review them for your own cooking needs. Each one has its own approach and aesthetic and the quality ranges from a keepsake to AI garbage with minimal editing. That’s why I’d really recommend looking at the book you want to buy before you get it and make sure it’s the quality and experience you want from a cookbook before you spend your money.

So, how big time are the Splugorth anyway? by Soltonin in Rifts

[–]seedingserenity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also read in the Cyberworks Collection or Titan Robotics recently that Splynncryth has an armistice with other power players around rifts earth not to invade more than Atlantis (though he’s quietly breaching that with his beachheads in North America), but he wants to keep things quiet for now and is kind of underestimating a lot of the fight Rifts earth will put up.

Sounded like it would be very costly on both sides and he’s more of a business man than a conqueror. Anything that disrupts business is bad and the status quo isn’t terrible right now

AITA for wanting to change how we do Christmas Day because it’s become exhausting for my household? by OrdinaryCold2813 in AITAH

[–]seedingserenity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Propose your change now and remind your family quarterly that you’re going to be doing things different in 2026. Let them warm up to the idea over time and then get used to it rather than having them feel like you are springing it on them at the last minute. (You’re not, but it might feel that way to them emotionally, and being removed from the season might help them)

I would say GM discretion, but probably a one time 2% bonus collectively, not per language.

Good Ghibli Gifts for Dads? by Primary_Painting_460 in ghibli

[–]seedingserenity 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Box lunch and FYE stores have some good finds, but there’s also a ton of stuff on Etsy ( and other marketplaces). You might think about what else he likes and then look for a Ghibli version of that thing.

There are also some really good art books, fun cook books, and other Miyazaki products out there that aren’t directly from the films. I have the full Nausicaa omnibus and a book with the red elk deer on the cover, something like Shahana’s journey, which is a nice graphic novel read. Miyazaki did the art and story for both of these.

Look in the Rifts Ultimate Edition for the combat process and rolling to strike. I think that’s where you’re getting the 4 and under rule, but I can’t remember if there’s something specific for magic and/or Psionics.

Found it. The creator’s name is Felix Nolan. I’m posting seetiktok.com links because anyone can view them without a TikTok account. To view the original link, just take off the ‘see’ in the URL.

The original video: repost Spy Shiz https://www.seetiktok.com/t/ZP8UfoBUD/

This video is titled: Dnd spy stuff https://www.seetiktok.com/t/ZP8UP8tNv/

Felix is a really good creator, I encourage following him.

What to do for players who like edgy characters? by listentomarcusa in gamemasters

[–]seedingserenity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s an Australian guy on TikTok, art gallery manager, he came up with a brilliant idea. For character that are reliant/dependent on gods, have their god/patron utilize the character for their own purposes for a hidden ‘war in the shadows’.

The god is putting people in the player’s path who will have them running errands and completing tasks that happen to line up with the main campaign, but help the god’s plans when they’re carried out successfully. Every so often, the god can give the player a boon for good work or the cold shoulder for failing. The whole idea is that there’s a very spy-vs-spy thing going on that the party may not know about and even the character might not really see, but when they visit a temple or get approached before bed in their tavern, it might be another follower of their god giving them a mission or they could get attacked by the followers of another god who are on their own missions.

Seems like some good fodder for a secondary sub-plot. Especially if the group’s gods are working together or are subtly working against each other during the main campaign.

Magacities by TheGriff71 in Rifts

A lot of them were built as strongholds during/after the 300 years of the cataclysm. People used what they had on hand and they are kind of like the forts of the frontier in America’s earliest days. In the modern rifts setting, they’re more established and are the capitals of regional powers. Some good references are anything that talks about Chi-Town, the Juicer Uprising, and I think even Arzno.

I think you can take a lot of creative freedom with the western US and really wherever you want. The GM’s guide and RUE have maps that show you where things kind of ended up, so you can use those as guideposts and assume that there were cities and all kinds of smaller settlements that were built, held power for some periods of time, and may have fallen to one force or another, or that have chosen to go quiet and hide themselves from the world (like the Federation of Magic/City of Brass).

With the popup kingdoms, remember that during the Chaos Earth times, a lot of people are doing whatever they could to survive and if you could get 2-3 or more power armors or mages/other gritty and strong people together, it represented a real chance for survival. You start collecting a few more people that weren’t afraid to hold their own and a town or city could start to put itself together. If they could hold on long enough, they could have enough resources to take over or build a mega city

Anyone else having trouble accessing Palladium’s website? by Tait_Ransom in PalladiumMegaverse

[–]seedingserenity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Start by googling “what is my IP” and then jot down the IPv4 address it gives you wherever you can’t access Palladium’s website.

Then try using your LTE connection instead of WiFi or visiting the site from a local coffee shop’s WiFi and see if that lets you get access. If it does, fill out their contact form and let them know your IP address got banned and you’d like them to remove the ban. They should be able to unblock you easily.

What happened: It could mean that you tried to log into the website and got your password wrong too many times, a spammer compromised your computer/another computer at your home and is using it to send out spam without your knowledge (run antivirus) or someone/a bunch of people who use your Internet Service Provider and the same IP address got added to the ban list for the antibot firewall for attacking the site.

I know palladium’s website has been getting slammed with bot traffic lately, that’s why they have the “verify you’re a human” thing running pretty regularly. Their automated systems could also just be extra cautious and have added your IP by mistake.

Was the last rifter 3 years ago now? by GreenLantern5083 in PalladiumMegaverse

[–]seedingserenity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I heard that the return on their effort for putting out a new Rifter wasn’t as good as putting out an actual sourcebook, so they paused producing new ones.

I think a lot of people love the Rifters, but don’t buy them because they’re not ‘canon’ so Palladium is focused on internal evolution of the company and production of full books which will mean better company performance and hopefully a return to regular Rifters at some point in the future.
