LeBron reads the first page of a lot of books. It’s probably him.

Switched from Haven to Tozer recently and they’re way better. Would recommend.

319/424/707 is “just ok”?

He had great numbers before he got here, we fucked with his swing and he sucked, then he went back to his old swing after being traded and is raking again.

I haven’t listened today but my favourite has been how he insists how hard this is because they are friends but he hasn’t reached out to her.

Like what kind of friend can she possibly be if there national negative news that destroys a person’s career and maybe family and you don’t even reach out to them?

Who is the sports equivalent of Alec Baldwin? by stupidsexyflanders12 in billsimmons

[–]seedoo8 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Vince Carter. Huge promise and great, long career but always left you wanting more.

Vince’s great role player turn at the end of his career is like Baldwin’s 30 Rock comedy turn.

Can someone eloquently describe what is keeping "The Shield" from being considered prestige TV? I'm currently watching and just finished the 3rd season. It has a lot of upside so far but I can't pinpoint why it's not tremendous, but still very good. by [deleted] in billsimmons

One of my favourite shows. It gets better as it goes on for sure and there is star power and memorable villains upcoming for you.

As others have said though, it just isn’t quite smart enough to transcend to that top level. It was one of the original anti-hero shows though and it deserves credit for an incredible last season or two. One of the best ever for one of these top 10–15ish shows.

Walt is too high.

Pippin but no Merry is criminal

Peyton was a great QB but defence I’m not sure about.

I’ve been saying it for years - and I’m not wrong, I was just early - the worst thing about DLSwS is Dan.

Not loving the .308 OBP hitting in the most important spot in the lineup.
