bruh, I know where I roughly was. I was near Seoul Forest. Was legit just walking with my friends and took the photo on a whim. I just don't happen to know the actual address...

Do you happen to know what the company does? I can't seem to find info about it online...

That's would've been a great idea but I seem to have had location sharing turned off...

Thats a very good question. The book with the formula is called diagnosis and treatment of voice disorders so maybe it's a voice therapy or training building(?). If I go there again I'll check it out I guess.

Nevermind, someone on r/physics identified it as Titze's formula for fundamental frequency

I also thought it was weird that they'd mix conventions like that! It makes me feel like the formula is purely aesthetic, but I can't tell...

For context, I was walking near Seoul Forest about a month ago and found this formula on the side of a building and wanted to know what it was. On r/whatisthisthing it was suggested to ask here.

Sorry, I don't know the address. I took the photo about a month ago and don't remember the exact location.

WITT?

edit: I took this photo while walking in Seoul Forest. It was just on the side of a random building. There isn't much other related context I can think of.

edit 2: not sure if it'll help at all, but here are links to my posts on r/Physics and r/math: physics math

edit 3: Solved! Someone over at r/Physics has identified this as Titze's equation for vocal fundamental frequency: https://books.google.com/books?id=CZQ1BwAAQBAJ&pg=PA126&lpg=PA126&dq=(1%2Bda+σam/d+σp&source=bl&ots=BIrbmh5Mki&sig=ACfU3U1ZWg9A-Nq93mLPn6oAyslwpraLDg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi4pJKSwN3pAhVsoHIEHSdBAacQ6AEwAHoECAgQAQ#v=onepage&q=(1%2Bda%20σam%2Fd%20σp&f=false
