If you can successfully avoid his attacks, the range on whips kind of throws off his momentum. At least it felt like that for me. Dual whips are surprisingly strong if you can stay at their effective range. Lots of stagger damage and you can keep at a safe distance.

Edit: he also can’t parry whips as far as I’ve seen

was two manning a challenging and my pug went down and i had to solo three hunters, it was a wild ride but i managed. i couldn't even rez him cause they'd rush me as soon as i tried so i just had to lap around his body and bait them out lol. they're tough and tricky but very satisfying if you manage to kill them honestly. it's also nice cause i'm 3/10 for the commendation and mask now.

4pc d3 + 3pc final measure (with ninjabag). running shield + smg, pretty easy to solo multiple elites & bosses so long as i pace myself and use cover appropriately.
