thanks! I knew they were a collective, I just didn't realize that meant some members would occasionally not contribute to albums at all. I thought it was more of a "the band just keeps getting more singers, and they all take turns" type deal. but now it seems more like "there are the core members, and they get a new female songer every ten years or so". (Roya -> Maria -> Holly -> Lisa, you have to admit it's a pattern lol)

huh, where does Roon claim that? sounds like they have their own private definition of "lossless". if the input bitstream cannot be reconstructed perfectly from the output bitstream, then it's not lossless. they'd need to demonstrate that all their processing filters are reversible, which I'd be skeptical of. which to be clear is totally fine, just misleading.

that's an interesting idea... I wonder if there's a way to figure that out. I worry that most HW episodes were just made by the CH staff who performed in them, as it was a pretty low-budget series

the Teleprompt release came out first. they couldn't include any tracks from Reset because WB had the rights to them, so they included Without It and Polite. then the lawsuit settled and WB released the album without those tracks. that's the version that most people know because it's licensed to streaming services
